How Can I Combat the Oklahoma-Approved Stupidity & Laziness of Drivers?

Sure, the stupidity-&-laziness is also approved-of by America & the automotive-industry. But I thought Oklahoma was smarter!
But nope, we're all just lazy hicks; only "working" when there's 'money' (or food or shelter or etc.) in it for us.
That's why pedestrians continue to be hit by cars, with NO REPAYMENT but the sweet abode of death (and no, you don't go to Heaven when you die--if you do, don't you think I would've stayed there?--unless you've fulfilled all the goals in life that let you rest peaceably).
My case: I've been hit TWICE, and the only repayment I've got is a settlement my family almost-personally had to win from the offender's insurance. And it's because that person STOLE 'MY LIFE' (i.e. the life I would be living if I had all of the faculties & abilities the injury took from me) that anyone even LIFTED A FINGER to help (and 'a finger' is just-about the size of the settlement).
NOTHING from the second 'collision.' Although ... the government DOES hold claim to the street, and many of my injuries were 'performed' by the hard pavement; I wonder if I could sue them for 'not making roads softer' ...
But that's another question ... Now we should turn to SOLUTIONS! The first one that came to my mind: The Random Avenger, exacting justice upon the traffic-system as a whole---distributing the sum-total of revenge for all complaints upon the next drivers he happens to see.
It wouldn't give the pedestrians justice for their injuries, and it might not be "fair" to the 'good' drivers who happen to cross the Random Avenger; but it might make drivers a little more-careful about letting themselves get stupid behind the wheel.
Does that sound like a good way to combat driver-stupidity? Can you think of any better way?

But it happens all the time---"colateral damages," yeah?
And the drivers who SHOULD be punished aren't "bad people" either; but ALL the drivers approve of the systems that enable the 'accidents' (and mine aren't the only accidents anyone's ever heard-of), so ALL have an equal share in the 'accidental' crimes.
But you're right. Real justice would be a tax-levied on ALL drivers & -paid directly to the victims.

real justice would be for people to start taking responsibility for their own actions. not forcing others to do it. people that were not involved in the accident do not have a equal share in it.
and more taxes is not the answer either. their are laws that already exist that people must carry insurance to drive . more taxes are just punishing the good again.

I am not a mylot fan, but my wife was reading this to me and I had to steal her computer briefly to respond. People from Oklahoma cant drive. I live in Texas, and they are constantly coming into my state and driving 20 miles under the speed limit in the fast lane of the highway. Additionally, they seem to like to stop in the middle of a road, and block traffic as they talk through their windows...
I have only come up with one good solutions for this. Invade Oklahoma, move everyone but the native american out, and claim it of the great state of Texas. Then we build a wall to keep all of the Okies out!
If I am understanding correctly, you were hit while walking both times. Maybe you should think about getting a car so that you are protected as you move about the state.
The avenger idea while colorful and fun is completely ludacris! Taxes are not the answer either. If you are unhappy with the state of things maybe you should lobby, or run for a government office.
Finally, suing the government for not making the pavement softer if one of the most rediculus things I have ever heard of. That thought may have resulted from your two accidents, in which case I don't blame you...
