The year 2013 seems to have started poorly for Arsenal. The lost again this time around to Chelsea. Again the game started with Arsenal conceding two quick goals at the start of the first half, one of them another penalty conceded, though Schenzy was lucky not to be sent off. The whole of first half Arsenal were very poor and did not look like even challenging Chelsea. A halftime pep talk by Wenger lifted the Gunners and they scored through Walcott, but fell short of equalizing losing the game 2-1. Giroud had another poor game, missing at least two very clear chances!! Arsenal seems to be low on ammunition and more re-enforcements are required in this transfer window!! Cheers! Ram

I do not think Arsenal has been in the running for the EPL title for quite some time now. I am now even worried about a 4th place finish as that would mean that we will also miss out on next year's champions league. I think failure to finish fourth might end Arsene Wenger's reign at Arsenal. Cheers! Ram

Arsenal played well in the second half and Walcott scored a very good goal but just could not score another to force a draw. Chelsea did have chances to increase the lead but the chances were not taken. Both teams need to play better and perform consistently in the coming matches to have a go at top four finishes.

Yes, both teams are not in the title chase anyhow this season. Both are inconsistent, but Arsenal is currently the poorer of the two. Cheers! Ram

The past two games certainly shows how much Arsenal has fallen behind. They are no longer regarded as a title contender. In fact, so far behind that they are in danger of losing their top four position. In my opinion, their precadiment is the result of Wenger's stubborn-ness and refusal to admit that the team is no longer world class. Unless the change a new manager or Wenger finally admit to it, Arsenal is doom to be stuck as a has-been.

I think that if Arsenal fall out of the top 4 then Wenger might finally move on. Probably that might be good for Arsenal, though Wenger has done a lot for Arsenal so far. Cheers! Ram

Not seeing this game though, but actually Chelsea is in the same condition with Arsenal, more or less. They still have a non-consistent performance under the new coach, Benitez. So I guess the Goddess of Fortune just looking at Chelsea this time Anyway, what reinforcements do you expect to come at Arsenal in this winter transfer window? Don't you think they already have a pretty 'big' squad?

Big is the key word. Their defense is simply not big enough. They concede such stupid goals. I think the back four of Arsenal could all be replaced!! And they need some one to put the ball into the opposition goal!! Cheers! Ram

The weather really mattered the match. Substitution was so poorly decided by arsene wenger. Giroud did his best with position. Couldnt get the best out of theo walcot. No hope was behind arsenal. Still im an arsenal.

Wow!! Messi is in Arsenal :). How we will love him :) Jokes apart, Giroud does not seem to be a great finisher, he takes many chances to put away the goals. Cheers! Ram
