..a serious scam is back on Facebook..

Hey guys, i am shocked to see how i am being tagged automatically on a scam which reportedly has the picture of an intimate scene of two people and it was mentioned that there is something exciting to look out for if u click on the link and u can see Selena and Bieber's bedroom action and i was like in an utter shock when i saw the tagged photo first!
Then i got to know that it was a scam and it might block your Face book account for ever if we click on that link, so i quickly untagged myself and still i am getting to see so many such scam pics where i am tagged. Oh my goodness, who is the brain behind this crappy stuff, i will seriously kill him, ha ha ha..
I hope this ends very soon as it poses a serious problem for all of our accounts.
What are your thoughts on this? Have u ever encountered this issue? Why one can see so many scams on Face book these days? Please do share your thoughts!

I have a lot of friends in Facebook and most of them are online sellers. They would often tag me with all of their products. And I got flooded with all of them. So what I did was adjust my account settings wherein I can approve the photos where I am tagged in. Otherwise, it will never show in my Timeline.

Thanks a ton for your valuable response. Well that is great to hear that u have changed your settings in such a way that u can get info regarding any tagging or stuffs. besides even i will try to adopt the same in the settings on my profile so that i am not tagged on unnecessary pictures and videos which might pose danger for my profile.

Exactly! We don't know what kind of people out there who might even photoshop some of the pictures and put our faces on such pictures that could put us to shame or danger.

Yes exactly the point, and the worst sufferers are the celebrities that u can see having so many fake profiles and yet pretending to be real ones. Besides many girls also complain of their photos being used in a negative way and hence many of my female friends are also not on face book.

Facebook is a huge social site that many people participate in. This does not sound like a very pleasing thing to be happening wth this site. It can hurt both relationships with others and their reputations. Facebook needs to be alerted of these practices and do something to keep them from happening or they could lose members who would be scared of being scammed as well.@subhojit10 (7375)

Yes u are absolutely right when i was tagged on that photo which was very offensive to watch i thought how can my friend tag me on such raunchy pic. later on i gotta know that it was a scam that might terminate one's profile. So as u have mentioned it might hamper relationship with others and hence FB should take adequate steps regarding this.

you can go to your settings and then you will not be tagged automatically. Had not encounted any scam on facebook, although I joined a site toe earn extra money just to find out after a month it is a scam. Kindly add me as friend.

Thanks a ton for your valuable response. Well i will do that as soon as possible to avoid any further unnecessary tagging by others. Besides there are too many scams online and as u have mentioned there are many people who get trapped and later on repent to be a part of such sites as they turn out to be fake ones. And one more thing, u are already in my friend list.
