Gadgets have a habit of getting wet whether that be the rain or receiving a text message when in the bath - not to be recommended. Now imperceptibly thin nanotechnology is hoping to lengthen the lifespan of wet gadgets. Check here a great vid and see a completly waterproof tisue! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/click_online/9786346.stm

Well, to be honest, I only saw the first images of the videos you have posted. However, to stay on topic with your discussion, it is a good thing that nanotechnology is doing studies in the construction of various items such as cell phone water resistant. How many times to say, it happens to us that the phone accidentally get wet! It may be damaged! In the video I saw even a cell phone completely immersed in the water! This will be the technology of "tomorrow"?
