Hello
Anyone in the UK a veggie who buys vegan or vegetarian meat that is healthy with only natural ingredients at a good price? Where can you get this from?
I am not a fan of eating meat but still eat some of it. I don't think it tastes that nice. All my family eat meat but I have been trying to look for alternatives with not much luck. :(
I can't find much in my local stores. I would like one at a good price that isn't too high. I don't like the ingredients of Quorn so will not touch this. I have only found Soysages and soy burgers from dragonflyfoods.com from Holland and Barrett that seemed to have natural ingredients. No chicken or other meat alternative.
A Waitrose near me used to have vegan meat and when I was ready to buy it, it was not in the store anymore and has not been back since.
How do you know if the meat alternative food is healthy?

Here we have some restaurants which only sells vegetarian food. And the price is even higher. But it looks like meats and it also tastes well. Most of these vegetarian food is made from the soybeans and taro. Here the soybean products are quite popular and we get used to eat it.

Hello
Thank you for your response.
I was researching online again and found some more websites other than places I found previously. I found a place called clearspottofu.co.uk and on this website it has a selection of products gthey produce and lists websites in the wholesaler section where some websites sell a variety of things from a variety of brands. It listed things like Abel and Cole, Goodness Foods, Redwood Co, Suma, The Health Store, etc.
So now I have found a wider range of veggie stuff now.
