I saw the trailer of this Canadian horror movie titled Mama,By far i think its the only Canadian movie to have an international release. Its a horror movie about a ghosts who takes care of 2 abandoned children, but when those children got adopted, she got jealous to the adoptive parents and starts terror. There seemed to be positive reviews and it looks different fro the Hollywood horror films, The trailer reminds me more of an Asian horror.
this is the trailer:

The video have lots of likes and by far the reviews I read are positive. I a considering watching this movie once it hits the theaters. If this movie becomes I hit, I hope this will be the start of the rise of Canadian movie industry, I mean we need another English language movie producing country aside from the Hollywood movies. Its also shame that the good Canadian actors and directors goes to Hollywood to have a career.

I just hope it makes it here. Canadian movie rarely makes it in the Philippines but its going to be locally available for Americans, so if its going to be in American theaters, there is a chance for a global release.

I checked the box office charts, I think it will make it in the Philippines as its the number 1 movie in US now. Imagine a Canadian movie now charting outside Canada.

I've seen this movie a few nights ago and the story was indeed good. Kind of a little heart-breaking in the end. Well, I thought it was going to be pretty scary considering the trailer that was shown. But I braved through it. Actually, watched this while everyone was already sleeping. And I was left alone wide-awake watching Mama in the middle of the night.

The darker the room, the better! Well, I did have my moments of looking at a darkened corner and expect Mama to come out from the darkness!

Hope this movie will turn out good, Wont it be cool if Canadian actors and actresses wont need to go to USA to have an international career.if this movie becomes a hit,We may now have a 3rd international English language movie producing country. I mean Most English speaking international movies are either British or Hollywood (American)

I have seen the previewsfor this movie and it looks pretty good. I love horror movies so I have to check them all out. I do like Asian Horror movies, they differ from American Horror. I am excited for this movie to come out and will see it.

I know this movie will be in the US, but I am a bit afraid it may not be contributed in my country, as Canadian movies rarely make it here.

I hope this movie is better than Hollywood horrors that relies too much on special effects to be scary.

Found this by entering movie title in a search bar.I've been wondering why no one talks about one of the box office top movies of this year - MAMA.I believe it's a great horror movie, I think it will be a success.I didn't know it was a Canadian movie, and this is what makes it even more interesting.

Its about time for Canada to have their own international Cinema, the world have only 2 english movie producing countries, British films and Hollywood, We need a 3rd one. The fact that many popular actors and directors in Hollywood are from Canada and the fact Canada is currently richer than the US, they need to have a movie industry. I hope Mama is the start.
