To understand MyLot, read your Welcome email and follow the links in it to the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx and the FAQs: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq.aspx These two links will tell you everything you need to know about MyLot in order to use the site effectively.

Read the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx and the FAQs: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq.aspx but don't worry about it too much (except to see what NOT to do and ... maybe other stuff, I dunno). But mostly, just join other discussions (to add your opinions to the mix), and if you can't find any discussions you have an opinion on (using the text-box next to the 'Search'-button at the top of every page) then use the 'new discussion'-link at the very top to make a space for those opinions. And trust the myLot-administrators (GoAskAlice & friends) to give us each as much as we deserve for our postings & searchings & friends we invite to join us!
