do you buy second hand things be it furniture, clothes or toys, what i love most is the second hand toys because most of what i get is more durable than the new stuff in the shop that my kids get to break easily, but i find whats the 2nd hand toys last till they tire of playing with them.if i see a good dress in the second hand market i will buy what i never buy second hand is inner wear.so my friends do you ever use second hand items and if you dont why?

Hi pomwango, I had bought a second hand car before. It's my first car. I bought it from my elder brother's friend. It's quite durable and the engine worked well I traded in it the time we purchased a new car by installment. It served us for almost six years. Although it's appearance didn't look decent here and there with rusty stains and paint crumbled off, yet its worked well the time we left it Happy posting

Not only for the reasons mentioned above. At that time our budget could get a second hand car only We could purchase a new car after we worked hard for several year to save enough money for it Yeah, certainly new car is always very much better than the used in all aspects

its okay to have a second hand car for a start, especially if you are new at driving so that if you bang it abit its not so bad like the new car but eventually, its always nice to get the new car with less mechanical issues and a better fuel consumption.

My cousin bought a second hand phone to used on my desktop for internet and it lasted forever since it was not my regular phone . I eventually gave it away when I get high speed internet . I am not a fan of buying second hand things but if its something like a gadget and you just want it for short period and its cheap then no problem .

I got no problems using second hand items as long as it is still usable and it is clean and presentable. That surely helps me save up a few bucks which I can in turn buy food for the kids.

My friends and I love going to thrift shops.I have bought a nice boho bag which was barely used or I think had not been uswd at all becauae there was a tag attached to it.When it comes to secondhand clothes,I do not mind wearing them.I wash them properly with hot water and anti-bacterial detergent.

I buy a lot of second hand things - my clothes and most of my furniture is second hand. My sofa was almost new but I bought it at a second hand store. No one can tell that I bought it second hand. It just looks very clean and doesn't have anything wrong with it. So, it just looks like I have had it for several years. It is still in good condition. Sometimes, I have bought brand new things at a second hand store. My purse is a high quality brand and I bought it brand new at a second hand store. It costs me less than $10 and I priced it on the website. That brand sells for $50 to $70. I got a very good deal. I agree, some of the second hand stuff is better quality. I like a good bargain for good quality items.

true you can get totally brand new items in second class shops, plus i think most people who dispose of this things are rich so they don't use them badly or till they are worn out so if we make a good choice we can get very nice things.

Good, inner wear is for private parts and if the person former wearing is nasty.. woo... bad. 2nd hand is alright as long as it serve the purpose and can do no harm to new owner it is another form of wise spending.

I did buy second hand only on specific item, not all of them. I prefer to buy new and unused items whenever my bank account is full after receiving my pay check. But sometimes it doesn't always work out the way i want. So sometime i have to buy second hand item when the circumstances in reality do not giving me the flexibility to do so. I am like you, never buy any second hand inner wears, it is just gross for me to do that.

I like to shop from second hand stores small stuff for art works. Sometimes I also shop for other things, like tables and chairs. I remember buying a handbag- not a second hand one, but still a new with half price.

The majority of everything that we own is something that has been second hand or more. The only furniture that we have in our house that was brand new is our bedroom set that I've had since I was in high school, the rest of the furniture is either stuff that was given to us by friends and family members or furniture that we bought at various different second-hand stores. When it comes to clothes for my children, I visit Salvation Army Thrift store on a regular basis and buy clothes for them. Just like you, the only thing that I will not buy second-hand is underwear. There is just something that totally grosses me out about wearing other people's underwear.

there is nothing wrong with second hand items as long as you make sure you choose unique and items in good shape, you will find people admiring them, infact when i have second hand items i have had people ask where i purchased the item from, because the bad things with most new things they come i bulk so it ends up looking like a uniform .

There are only a few second hand items I won't buy. I won't buy under clothing. There is one thing we should have new and that would be under garments. Another thing I will never buy used is shoes. Your feet are unique to you. You will break your shoes in differently than anyone else would. I have tarpal tunnel in my left foot (similar to carpal tunnel but only in the foot instead of the wrist) and the quality of my sneaker/shoe is very important to me. These are pretty much the only two items I will never buy in a second hand store.

i totally agree inner wear is just too intimate to risk buying second hand we should be glad we can afford to buy new, there are people so poor who would rather buy those than have none since affording a new inner wear is expensive.

I honestly buy 2nd hand items too, as long as they still look nice and at a reasonable price to being 2nd hand :) It's anywhere now, even on auctions right? Cheap 2nd hand sale, garage sale, auctions of celebrities..hehehe they are just the same, buying used items. I am happy to have them at cheaper cost especially when they still look new. Cheers dear! :)

i make sure when i choose this items they look very new so that someone does not wonder why i got them, infact most i find are very new, people wont buy what looks worn out and tattered unless they are so desperate.

If they are still good I'm fine with second-hand things but not with clothes. I'm not comfortable wearing clothes from someone I don't know. But with other things like toys, furnitures and appliances, as long as they're working it's I don't have problem in buying them if I have money.

When my mobile phone was stolen last year,I bought a second-hand mobile phone. But it is really good. I usually consider buying the second furniture or computers. It saves money and if we are lucky enough,we can get a nice one with cheap price. Why not? But you are right,it is not good to buy the second hand undercloths.

you get a fast solution cheaper,i am glad for you, only that in my country getting second hand phones is rare, what happens some bad people steal phones and sell them so i would only buy a 2nd hand phone from a friend disposing theirs or a renowned shop.

Whenever I want to buy something, I always look for a way to save more money that's why I look for second hand item. I am a very thrifty person and if you think that you could not save from second hand items because it will easily broke down or malfunction then you're wrong. It depends on your usage of that item. I always take good care of my items especially those 2nd-hand ones.
