Aside from mylot I actually don't have other online jobs. I wanted to earn more using the internet since I don't think I'll be able to get employed here in our province. I'm kinda doubting if such job, online tutor, would be easy or not. I've tutored before but it was face to face. I hope I'll be able to find other online jobs, can anyone suggest other online jobs?

Don’t just limit your knowledge on online opportunities! There are more ways to earn online, it just need time and patience though.
Basically, you can do some work project over freelancing sites such as Odesk and Freelancer; they do have some tutoring service jobs as well. They pay via PayPal however; you need to apply though in order to get the available position.
You can also post your own tutoring service via sulit, ayosdito, and olx. So that some service clients will get in touch with you.
Lastly, you can apply to this english tutoring site called pc-conveni they cater english tutoring sevices via skype for their japanese students. But you need to apply first and get an initial interview with their human resource personnel via skype. They pay through western union.

Hi heaytheblogger!
I checked out the last suggestion you had and it looks good. I'm just wondering if you know their rate? It would be nice if I can get an idea if which is a higher pay of the same type of online job.

@giggles721 : Before they let you work on their team, you need to undergo training for some weeks or so, with a training allowance. However, once you are approved on their listings as online english tutors, your rate depends on your availability and schedule so as with students rating. you can refer to their site if you want to know more about their pay.
Thanks for your response.

I have also wanted to do online tutoring, but have not had any luck in finding students. Anyway, you may want to try as a virtual assistant. There is quite a number of jobs for that position. Try creating an account at odesk.com

Hi jenny, I don't have an Odesk account yet but I'll try to do that. I've heard that there are a lot of online jobs at Odesk and if I'm lucky enough I don't need to look elsewhere.

a pleasant day to you giggles721,
honestly speaking i didn't experienced yet to be an online tutor though i want to be one if i can be qualified. i guess, being at this post is fine as long as you will be paid after all the work and tutoring job that you have done. perhaps try to scrutinize thoroughly the site where you will do the tutoring job. check their background maybe and if how the mode of payment will be course through. thus it is easy to join but it is hard to missed an earning after exerting a lot of effort.

Hi airasheila, thanks for the tips! It is actually a reputable online site and my friend had tried it before. I would make sure that the time I spent online for the job will be compensated accordingly and that I can have more that two online jobs.

I have never tutored before but I encounter several communication mishaps when communicating online. If it hard for you to tutor face to face, it will be harder if you have a medium between teh two of you. You have to know how to use the webcam and how to monitor your student when you are conducting lessons. Like any kid or students, they can be easily distracted and you don't know if they are surfing the net at the same time you're conducting the lesson. But if you can cope, try ti and perhaps, it might be rewarding for you.

It is difficult to tutor or shall I say draining. Even for an hour lesson it feels like forever but I hope I can manage online tutoring. I'm actually looking into ESL tutorials and passed the interviews but haven't started yet. Crossing my fingers that I will get through this.
