There were some news that NBA Comissioner David Stern wants to put an end to the hack-a-shaq tactics that players usually do when they are running out of time and the other team is ahead by like 5 points or less. It is when they foul a Center or any other player that is poor in free throw shooting. David Stern said that this tactic is something that is degrading the value of the game and that it has to be stopped. although he is still thinking about it, personally I do not think this tactic is wrong. What are your thoughts?

Well, I find nothing wrong with that one. It completely challenges the other team to step up their free throw shooting to win. Basketball is a game assessed by who puts up the ball in the hoop better. And surely, those that really can't make free throw, especially late in the game, should not end up as the winner as they can't put the ball in the hoop even without someone guarding them. Late game free throws also says a lot of something about the heart and nerves of winners being able to hit the shot full of surrounding pressure.
