I lost my pretty Memo. I feel so sad now but somehow I still believe that she will come back to me. She is gorgeous with her pure white hairs with a black tail and black half of her face. She kissed me a lot on that night before she was gone. I had a sleepless nights from the time she left.

Oliver, the kitten in my avatar, KNOWS he's a person. After all, aren't I his mommy? He came to us at 7 days old. He has never spent a night since that time at any other place, not even the vet when he was fixed.
Sure, the big cat in the avatar taught him how to be a cat, but he knows he's a person. Well, Rygel, the big cat, thinks he's a person to, just a different sort of person. Probably better too, since he is so smart.
Booboo thinks he's a superior life form, but he'll let us man handle him, at least a bit. The roomie's great niece actually got him angry enough to take a swing at her, that's a first, he's generally good with kids.

They say dogs look up to there masters, cats look down on them. I don't see cats like people, I see them as superior beings. Dogs have owners, cats have staff. If you have a good relationship with your cat, it's because it has trained you well.
