How old is too old for shared bath

I think that it is inappropriate to be taking a bath with a child. Well, it is just my opinion. I am not comfortable being in such situation. However, I do respect others who might have considered doing it. And maybe it is about time to stop doing it as soon as the child starts to be inquisitive.

I don't see an issue with taking a bath with your daughter until she is much older... My daughter is 7, if she wanted to take a bath with me I don't think its a big deal. We have the same parts after all. If it was the opposite gender that would be different...My daughter is pretty independent so she wouldn't ask me to take a bath with her but if she did I would. =)

I don't think I ever shared a bath with my mother. I shared one with my sister from the time I was about three years old and she was seven, till I was four and she was 8, or maybe five and nine.

I wouldn't share a bath with a child. My personal space is my personal space, and her personal space is hers. I would want for her to always know that her body is hers, and her bath time belongs to her alone--not to Mommy or any siblings. I know that is a different view than what many people hold. I just feel that creating personal space early on is important.

I did shared baths with my daughter until she was about a year old. She was terrified of the bath and it was much easier to bath with her. Finally she got better with it and I could sit on the side of the tub with my feet in the water so she could hold on to my legs. Now she enjoys her bath.

i think when their daughter go to school,the daughter should take bath by herself.everyone has private,when the children go to school,they start to konw they has private.
