What kind of treatment have you gone through? My mom also had those but she had it removed via laser shock. But together with it, she asked the doctor to take out his gall bladder as well. That has been 14 years ago and since then no gall stones were ever formed.

Well, then try to avoid food that may contribute to the formation of the stones. I found this online. Hope this will help you. http://www.healwithfood.org/gallstones/

Have you gone for a USG to confirm the diagnosis or is it assumption that you have been suffering from gallstones? If it is a confirmed diagnosis of gallstones, you have to go for a surgical removal of the gall bladder and with it the stones will automatically be removed. The reason for excision of the gall bladder as a whole is that if it is retained after removal of the stones, the long continued irritation so long by the stones might precipitate malignancy of the gall bladder. So the gall bladder has to be removed. The surgical removal of the gall bladder may be done laparoscopically or by the traditional abdominal approach.

I know a friend of mine who got it removed by laser invasion. Hers was already too bad it was interfering with her health. She is now doing fine.
