ON and OFF power is really frustrated..

Its really frustrating to me when the power goes ON and OFF and especially when you have an online job. i cant concentrate my work also my one loptop was broken because of the power ON and OFF without any saying even announcing it in RADIO. i cant seat and relax while my electric appliances was broken.its been a long months that this power goes on and off since we move here.and i dont like this.
its really frustrated when your infront of your work and then the power will down isnt it?

Hello galactic_gurl, Pwer surge are definitely an annoying thing to endure, most specially if the gadgets and appliances that you have are very sensitive to it.Who is your electric provider? it's sad and hard knowing that you need it badly which is poorly maintained.better check it first and take time when is it gonna turn of or not.

If its the provider at least it should be fixed without much hassle. Otheriwse if it is something to do with their appliances, that could be costly.

You are right feel frustrated and irritated power on and off with in few minutes on then with in few minutes off. Why MSEB not set the proper time. Last night I face this problem due to this my TV also doing on off then finally I closed.

the power is on and off even there is no weather or storm . i was heard people humor that the electric source was being corrupt and they going to ON and OFF the power so they can get or they steal electricity and by that we double pay the electric bill. and the bad thing is if they goes on and off they can damage the appliances of the people. and when someone ask them and complaint why they always did that without even annoucing so people can get ready. they only say short or slow sources.. its really bad.. slow source when the other place is very good and not on and off the power.

Yes, I know what you mean. Because of this, especially on rainy days when this is sometimes likely to happen, we keep several flashlights around the house---one in each room. It's not the same as electric lights, but it does help a little. Make sure you have several batteries for your computer for emergencies like this. Have your flshlight next to your computer. This may not be the most ideal thing, but at least it can help a little

i dont have any flashlight..also i dont have UPS for the appliances. i really hate because thought there is no rain , though there is no weather. the power will goes on and off. i really hate living in this place like this.

yeah, right. it's really annoying! some electric cooperatives here in the philippines are like that, they did not announce on the radio that there will be a power disruption. if there is no electric current automatically, you cannot use the internet, right? so it is really disgusting and irritating. you are paying your bills but their service isn't satisfying.

if that happened to me then I will check in throughout the system on my computer, my battery cannot keep for one minute. It ever broke my whole Windows and I need to re-install again. I just cannot think to be relax if my computer still broken. From morning till night I am doing to fixing those Windows, and when I found the problem and then can see a quiet mind.

That would be annoying.
For the past week my internet connection is not working good and I really felt annoyed.
I have called the customer service and ask the reason why my internet connection keeps on and off for sometime.
The agent told me that the site (mother base) is doing some enhancement (duh)
Until now, there are times that my connection slows a bit and keep me hanged in the middle while submitting responses.

Hello Jaiho, that is hard for me to believe because internet connection is one of the basic things we used to keep ourselves in touch online. besides, we also have other social activities and online earnings too. they should provide a better service than the ones they are poorly showing. a lot of people are depending in electricity.

I'd experienced this recently myself. With no storms or reason for it the power would flicker or turn off when I was getting into my online work. 
Every time I would get into my work I would have to start over. You're not alone in that. Sorry though it does suck!

Unless there is a huge thunderstorm, our power doesn't go off. But with a thunderstorm, of course, we are aware of the storm and then, we need to make sure we have candles and flashlights handy.
It is indeed frustrating. But I try to relax and find something else to do. But there isn't much to do in a thunderstorm except to stay warm and dry indoors. I guess, its time to catch up on some sleep. :)

thank you zoejoy . i am aware about the huge thunderstorm coz i know thez will announced it for sure. but my main problem is though there is no storm , the power here still goes on and off . coz i heard people humor that the sources here is being sell . and when the people complain about the power on and off . thez only replied to the consumer that they have a short sources. and this happened everday and the bad thing is there is also a humor that if the power goes on and off thez are steal the electricity and we pay two times . so people asking if what they really paying for if the electricity or the brown out.
my concern is about my appliances like, tv,computer,loptop, and other electric appliances that can cause damage from the power goes on and off.
