I think every Indian knows about this and some other country people also knows about this Kumbh mela. This mela is held in every 3 years and only 4 places are choosed for this. Haridwar, Nasik, Ujjain and Allahabad.
This year this mela is called Maha Kumbh Yatra and came in Allahabad, we can see here the largest public gathering in the world. I heard this Maha Kumbh Yatra cames after 144 years and this year this came. Millions of people travel across the globe to take taking the bath in Allahabad. Are you going in kumbh mela for bathing. Is this your first time or you attend before also. Share your more view about this.

Yes i went for kumbh mela, i also met lot of my friends there who were form Russia and Canada as well. I was there for the first snan, it was a wonderful experience. My father has been to the one that was 12 years before and then the Nasik one too, this is his third mela. Mine was first. I loved the spiritual power we feel there, the people who are so so much loving. It is a different world there. You forget the technology, the modern world here, the rude and cruel life out we are living here. When you go in there your life is completely different, it changes for good. You feel so different, your tears flow off automatically to feel what you miss from your life. It is a feeling that can never be explained. And i feel i am very lucky that i got my first bath in triveni sangam.

Hi Dear,
I have never participated in this event. I know about this only through news papers. I read about the specialties and I remember, you also told me that the cool will be more at the time of 'Kumbh Mela'. (there was some relief for cold but still again it is much cool).
To be very honest I like to avoid the crowd especially in case of seeking blessings from God.
Have you gone for this dear?

Dear friend,
I had heard of lot Kumbh mela and seen it through television and movies. But never had got a chance to experience it live. May if I get a chance I would be in that mela. The word Kumbh means a pitcher and Mela which means fair in Hindi. The pilgrimage is held for about one and a half months at each of these four places where it is believed in Hindu mythology that drops of nectar fell from the Kumbh carried by gods after the sea was churned. The festival is considered as theonce of the biggest gathering on Earth. Thanks for sharing this...
