hi , i am not a true lover of salads. But now a days i am liking the cabbage and sring onion, bracolli and onion salads.Having raw salads i,e pulses type at night takes a long time to digest. I enjoy cucumber, tomato and bit of chilly and tomato suace upon that.Salads are also good to lose weight. If you garnish the salads with pepper , coriander and chilly powder it will be awesome

I love a good salad! Now I'm really hungry. And I have nothing to make a salad with.

I have experimented with raw food and salads are very popular with raw food eaters.

I am different. I like eating the fruits salad because they taste sweet. I like it much more. I don't get used to eat the raw vegetables. And therefore I don't enjoy vegetable salads.

Pulse can be soaked & even sprouted for much easier digestion. We need to learn how to prepare our foods correctly. We can also soak grains, nuts & seeds too for a complete meal. Soaking increases our absorbtion of protein, vitamins, minerals & other nutrients. Sprouting even more so. For myself, I would leave out onion, garlic or any member of the allium family. The right combination of herbs, spices & marinading the vegetables correctly will give you a flavour that is out-of-this-world!

I have experimented with raw food and salads and I must say I loved it. We used to sit around in a group and prepare raw food for a meditation group of 50 participants. It was great fun as we cut and grated vegetables and fruits. The more creative people taught us how to add pepper, rock salt and other organic ingredients to make it very tasty and edible. I loved eating raw food and could consume almost like a hungry cow. The best part was I never felt dull and full after eating to my heart's content. With cooked food if you eat too much you feel tired and dull for a few hours. With raw food I even felt the sweat no longer smelled bad. The skin tone improved as I lost excess fat rapidly. But my spouse missed the spicy cooked food and I had to revert back to coooked food which helped me regain the fat and dullness.

That's wonderful to learn of your experiences. Keep progressing towards the raw ideal whenever you can. There are so many benefits to a vegan organic raw food diet that help every aspect of our lives - especially spiritually. Have you noticed?

I like adding new things to my salad, I find salads are easier to digest if it doesn;t have brocolli in it.

Cucumber with celery and potato and mayo are good too. The lettuce is good too with salad dressings. They are healthy. Try eating vegetables salads always you'll never regret it. :-)
