No Election in their SC

Philippines

Hello Lotters, I am not sure when Elections should be held to Senior Citizen members in their respective areas. but I was surprised to find out that the SC's here doesn't want any election to push through. why? because they love the public service being done. what's shocking is that my mom's a VP of this area and she has been very professional about it. they were surprised at first when they got their 10$ benefits from the government and my mom did all effort to have their ID's and their information completed. Some people believed she can be a good public servant, am sure my mom isn't stupid enough to ascend to that level, you know how dirty politics can be. As a Son, am proud of her.

She could organize the group. If the group with be for e the benefit of the elders then she could initiate its creation.. They just have to register it to the LGU concern. Have a nice day! I though the benefits being given today for the SC is five hundred. For me this is a very small amount.

Hello Aries, actually it was a very hard work that people almost didn't believe their gonna get paid by the govt. i can't expect to be bigger knowing that the govt can't provide much more. I guess what she's doing now is some documentation so that she needs to finalize probably for their ID's too.

I didn't quite get the topic. Are you saying there are Senior Citizen elections in every area? What are these elections for? Is this some kind of group or cooperative? Can you please enlighten me on this since I am really curious to know what it is.

Hello Xtedazcvg, I don't really the organizational type but i guess it's an organization that is recognized by the government. mom doesn't tell much but with her hard work and organizing the members the govt or municipality there were able to give them their benefits as senior citizen. maybe i will ask about the org. structure. but i could tell they were happy about her service.

Hello Letran missed commenting to your posts, our pc still down and I think we have to buy a new one so I have to go to internet shops so my myLot activity sufferred. Going back to your discussion, in case your mom is willing to run why not give her a chance after being a public servant is a self fulfilling career. For sure you'll be more proud of her for her performance.

You should be, and you have every right to be. Most people just wouldn't care about the SC's, or have some limit to their "help". Aside from being a good person, your mom must have raised you very well to be so appreciative of what she does.

Hello Raine38 She's a very good person and even to her co-member of the SC, she was always attentive and active.well, she is a good disciplinarian back in the days. now we are all grateful for her. we don't earn that much money but we are quite settled enough to pay all the bills.
