Both the Congress party and the BJP are two sides of the same boat. So voters have no credible choice before them. Under such circumstances, do you think that Arbind Kejrilal led Aam Aadmi party (AAP) would pose any threat to the two big giants of Indian politics? Please keep in mind that AAP could not make any impact in the recently held assembly elections in Gujrat and Himachal Pradesh where BJP and Congress have formed the state governments respectively. It is also true that the poll results should not be seen as a debacle for month-old party. But how much do you expect from it? Would AAP work miracle in the coming Parliamentary elections in 2014?

I certainly don't think AAP stand a chance in the elections next year. But I do hope they'll form a very credible opposition to either UPA or NDA whichever comes to power. Maybe in the next elections in 2019, AAP and Kejriwal will have earned enough respect from people of India to be able to challenge the established forces of Indian politics.

Hi Doctordidi
In my view there will be no impact of AAP in the 2014 parliamentary elections , if we consider the recent election results it will also show us the same. The fight will be between BJP and CONGRESS , only 1 or 2 will be there for AAP . We can also see that the AAP is quite for some time no meetings , no hungama nothing they are silent. The expectation about Aam Aadmi party (AAP) in the next Lok Sabha election 2014 is nothing is only my assumption , have to wait and see will they really make an impact or not .

Hi, thnx for raising this issue. In fact no mirracle is expected from AAP, but its certain that the young educated persons involved in this party like arvind and some of his friends will be able to find seats in parliament. As you find both major parties are similar in nature of operation for public interest, its just because of improper mechanism in selecting candidates for MPs and MLAs. The same phenomena is also inside AAP, so result is similar too. Its just like any other pol. party. Thank you.
