Ofcourse we eat the crust of the bread. I don't know anybody who does not eat it. The first thing we feed a baby is a breadcrust to chew on and eat. Crust is bread too and in my country we have all kind of crusts and they all taste different. The crust is baked with all kind of seeds etc so really tastefull. Do they cut of the crust of cookies and pie as well? I agree it's a waste of good food.

You can make use of those crust actually. My nanny would make us pudding out of a day old bread or just plain crusts of bread. You should try them. You can even add some fruits with it, like pineapples and apples.

I'm assuming that you are referring to that nasty "bread" that is heavily processed, comes pre-sliced and can be found in the "bread aisle" of the supermarket. Yeah... We don't buy that stuff. If one is eating good bread, one wouldn't want to cut off the crusts. That is generally the most desirable part of the (preferably unsliced) loaf of bread.

I do eat the bread crust and never throw them at all. I don't find anything wrong in it. Even when i go to hotels if i have to eat sandwiches i tell them not to remove crust off them. I value food a lot, i hate it when people waste food when there are lot of them who die of hunger. I think respecting things that we have is more important.

I like bread crumbs. I even dip it in chip dips and sauces, lol! Or sprinkle some in a can of soup for that extra taste and to make it a little more thick. Maybe they're just picky.

I eat the crust on most sandwiches. Except peanut butter and jelly. Can't stand the crust on them. I don't know why it just has to go. My daughter is the same way she'll eat crust on most sandwiches but not on the pbj. The dog always sit at my feet when I make those sandwiches because she knows she'll get the crust.

Yes in normal circumstance I will eat the crust. It isn't that big of a deal. If the bread is home cooked and the crust is unbearable then no, I will throw that away.
