when i am online and my family and friends stalk me, i like the fact that i can just choose to not answer them when the instant message pops up. lol. it's not like the phone the just keeps ringing and ringing. it's not your front door where you have to pretend like no body is home. you could just choose not to respond. i love online. you can deal with who you want to deal with, when you want to deal with them. since my family and friends can't understand that i don't like to talk, they stalk me on facebook. but, i stopped even worrying about whether or not they will find me online. i just don't respond. it's just so wonderful. i wish life could just be lived on the computer.

Yep it's much easier to ignore people online than it is in person :) Most of my communication is online. If someone sends me a message I can ignore it or respond later, and they will never know if you just aren't at your computer or just busy. Being online gives you that separation from the person that gives you more freedom to communicate with them on your terms.

Yes, I am Agree with you,you can just ignore people online if you want too. But I am different to you. I like to speak with people, I like chat with people in online. I like social with them because it just fun for me to talk to my friend or my family.

So they won't ask you why you are not chatting with them? BTW you can also not answer your Phone if they keep ringing or just switch it out for some time (which I do). I have my Phone for me in cases of need. By now my family already knows it's kind of useless to call me so they text and they text and if we have time we text back or send an e-mail (which I do more frequently since it cost me nothing and texting does). The only annoying thing I have left over is the front door bell. People keep ringing it or are even banging on the windows :-( I do agree with you that life by the computer would be way easier.

Yes, I like online options too. Just don't respond. Such a nice feeling of power in a bad or unyeilding situation. SOmetimes I wish that life were so easy. But we can set up healthy boundaries.

There is a feature on Facebook chat that allows you to choose who among your friends on the list can actually see you online. I have put a couple of friends on a special "offline" mode. So all the time, they see me offline even though I am logged on and chatting away with those people that I prefer talking to.

i think is better for us as human being to build relation in real world not just in internet world, because we will lots of need help other person in reality than from internet world. Even we dont much or even dont like to much to talk, we should be better to start it. We can not just living with internet which is they cant help you in real world, internet is good for sharing knowledge and there's something that internet cant handled.

Hahaha.. I can relate to this. Sometimes I do these, ignoring chats and messages from other people on the web. Really is just easy as 1 2 3.. But still, I prefer to talk to someone if he/she has a conflict/problem with me.

Well ignoring or also unsubscribing to certain feeds are nice cause we don't have to see it all the time. There are trolls on facebook just like on all over the web and if unknown people are trying to bother we can also always report to facebook, I think they'll cancel the trolls account according to how many complaints there were about this person so if we see any bullying is good to always take sometime of our time to report that, and of course any type of underage activity like an adult after a child or teenager with malicious intent.

I am mostly offline at Facebook Chat, coz I also do not want to be bothered by people who doesn't interest me that much. I just reply to those people by sending them private messages instead.
