My husband and I enjoy going for walks in parks and in nature. We don't go on hikes, just strolls in the park or along nature trails. We enjoy getting outside and being in the fresh air and just talking and walking together. Last weekend, we went on a walk in a park that we had never been before. We walked along side the creek for a long time. The creek's water was low and so, we could walk along the edge of the creek. It was a very interesting walk in that park because other seasons, the creek would be more full and it would not be easy to walk along the edge of the creek bed like we were able to. It is interesting to see and experience the different seasons in nature. What do you enjoy doing outdoors together?

I do enjoy walking at the park with my kids and friends. During summer, we usually go out and stroll at the park every night. It's nice to walk outside when the weather is a bit hot staying inside home. It also help to have a good sleep after a long walks during night time.

I joked with my daughter. She had two little dogs who love to go for walks. One time, she came to visit and brought her dogs. I told her that she now needs to take her dogs and her parents for a walk - because her two dogs and both her parents love to go for walks. We did go for a walk in our local park. We had a great time - but not sure who enjoyed it more - my hubby and me or my daughter's two dogs? I think my daughter enjoyed the walk too, because she was with those that she really loves - her parents and her dogs. :)

I like walking along the beach with my wife and kids. Feeling the breeze is always a nice experience and my kids like to build sand castles :)

My husband and I enjoy walking along the beach as well. We don't live near the beach but like to travel to the beach when ever we can. I always have to wear a beach cover with pockets because I am always collecting shells. And thus, I need the pockets for all the shells I collect. Shells are great mementos of the good times at the beach.

My husband I live on a island and we like to go for walks here or in other parts of the country. We live in rhe central part of the island and we like to visit a sculpture park in the northern part of the island. The sculptures are made from trees, stones and other kinds of natural materials. Some of the sculptures are relatively easy to find and others are very hard to find because they look like a natural part of the park. My husband and I like to walk around in that park and try to guess where the sculptures are. Next to the park there is a castle and a lake and the area is very beautiful. Sometimes we visit other parts of the country for instamce some of the small island in our local area. Last time we visited an island called Strynoe and we went for a long walk there. The island was very peaceful and beautiful and we both enjoyed the walk a lot. Next next we plan on visiting two other small islands where we haven't been before.

Husband and wife walking - Husband and wife walking together
Ofcourse I do, we do love walking together, holding hands and talking lot of stuff. This is one of our way to spend time together and kind of exercise for us too, hubby would always ask me to go with him even just getting a gas or getting his car some stuff and I do go with him without complaints;-)

I envy you so much! Just yesterday I told my husband that for health reasons we should be walking daily (even the doctor told him that)when he comes home in the evening we could go to the beach... He came home last night and told me that he walks enough at work, so ... I exercise with my friends each morning which I believe it is good, but it would be nice to include my other-half too!

I was born and raised on an island. One of our favorite places that we liked to go swimming was at a lake on this island. In the middle of this lake was a little island. We could walk around this island in 10 minutes. But we would go swimming around this island. Sometimes, I miss living on an island.

You are very fortunate that you get to have some time to do things with your husband. I have been trying to ask mu husband to let me come along with him when he goes walking or jogging. But every time, he would have lots of excuses. It's really been quite a while since we had some time together......

So sorry to hear you were robbed. I don't walk by myself when it gets dark. My husband likes to go for strolls - so we really aren't exercising but we are outdoors in the fresh air. If we stroll for about a mile, I suppose that is exercise. Bets just sitting around watching TV. Besides, it gives us time to talk and just enjoy being together.

My husband also has lots of excuses... even now that the doctor told him to walk every day!!! he is a real couch potato! I have been robbed last year when I went for a walk alone, so now i cannot do it alone... One would have thought that my husband would have decided to join me because of that incident...

Wow, am I odd if I say that sounded so romantic? It's great to appreciate nature once in a while, especially with people we love. I do this with my boyfriend. We hiked one time, but I was so competitive against him I wanted to be faster in hiking. LOL! We also try the beach, the park and other places. Just this sunday we were walking through a crowd of people, the city was crowded with people because there was a special even going on. I didn't feel bad being stuck in the middle like a sardine, rubbing against sweaty people, my boyfriend was there, he protected me and I was able to stay calm through it all. Though... that's kind of irrelevant to this discussion.

Thanks dee, I was worried because I tend to miss the topic whenever it involves topics that reminds me of my boyfriend. haha, I know, I'm slightly agoraphobic myself... if that is the appropriate name...I think it is. It's very uncomfortable being a sardine, I'm so glad i wasn't born a fish. Anyway, what's most important in a situation like that is to stay calm, breath evenly, cool our heads. Though I am small I can actually handle people who bump against me. This one time I hurt a guy who was taller than me. I guess I am stronger than I look. Plus, I have also developed a skill in swimming through crowds.. even running.

Nothing that you mentioned was irrelevant here. Its good that you can enjoy outings with your boyfriend. I cannot handle crowds and therefore will NEVER do 'Mall-crawling'. All those people walking into a person, bumping you out of the way sometimes.... oh no, I do not like that at all! It is exactly like you said - you feel like sardines in a tin... haha!

Going for a walk with your significant other is not just a best exercise to do in addition to that much enjoyable and you wouldn't even fuss about the time you are walking together simply because you are enjoying each other's company. In relation to this, It gives you more moment to know intimately each other for it provides you some dating time again just like when you and your loving were in dating stage. Moreover, you both can relax and relish some wonderful places, that you never imagine beautiful before.

I got married last year but the marriage didn't worked out. I envy you since you and your husband can do things together. So I would say that I want to experience those things again. I have a partner before I got married and we stayed together for 8 years. I remember just going out without any idea on where to go. Just stroll out with a good conversation. just a simple bonding but i guess that's what I miss nowadays.

I like going for walks. My husband however does like going for walks. I think since he works throughout the day he just wants to do something inside the house for relaxation. Now if we are on a trip of some sort and their our trails he likes doing those. But around our area he is not to enthusiastic about going for a walk. I'm glad that the both of you had a good time going for a walk. I think going for a walk is a great to open up to one another and really talk. Instead of watching tv or doing something like that.

My husband and I don't often get the chance, but we both love to walk. We both enjoy the ocean, it some how purifies us both. In the summer, we try to get to the beach a few times. It amazing what walking hand in hand on the beach, does for the two us. We would love to do it more often. But, with such busy lives it's nt so easy to do.

I love going for walks and outings with my fiancé. I just hate it that we can't go now because it's really cold here. But when we can, we go. Sometimes we just take walks around the environment he or I live in, but the best is when we can go into the nature. Truly wonderful. Or when we visit famous places with a beautiful surrounding.

My husband and I tried to jog together. But I soon realized that its a big mistake because I can't keep up with him! He's got bigger strides and much to my chagrin, he's more fit than I am. So we tried walking and at least it made me enjoy it without having to lose a breath or two. But then hubby says he gets tired easily because he has to match my baby strides haha!

It's such a wonderful way to spend time together, without distractions, and also enjoying the nature and the city. Me and my significant other also love to do this. Unfortunately we are both very sensible at cold weather, so the winter we prefer other activities. We didn't walked for some months until today, when it was a better weather. It wasn't a long walk, but it was really good. Until a harsh wind comed and we sheltered ourselves in some cafe-bar. But in more friendly seasons, we use to have a day once a week when we just walk, exploring our city, talk and have fun. We try to choose always different places, different parks. He knows a lot of things about buildings and their history and he use to tell those stories to me while we walk near them. We do sport together in the park sometimes or we go read staying on some bench and than discussing about. But the most exciting thing for me it's to discover new streets, new neighborhoods, new churches and so on.

Hubby and I like to go out camping. He'll go camping any time of the year, he don't care. I like to go camping in nice weather and where there's a body of water. :) Other times, we'll go fishing. Lately, he's been going to church with me and attending a Life Class. He's made me happy that he chose to do this on his own. :D

this is so romantic, i enjoyed doing this walks but its been so long, i guess we have grown lazy to enjoy a good walk and time is hardly ever on our side, the car has made it tempting to jump in and rush to where we want to go.i used to love doing walks around our home neighbourhood especially in the evening when its cool,we got to share laugh and talk, i think i will revive this culture.thanks you have reminded me of something i have missed.

I do walk and jog alone.I daily get up early in the morning and start doing jogging. But i have to go one kilo meter away from my home and there i jogg and walk. But if you and your husband both go together for walking,it is a very nice feeling indeed.
