good features of 6.0.1 ios firmware

i update my ipod from ios 4.1 to 6.01 because my ipod is in DFU mode so nothing i can do to that problem.
anyway what is the good features of the newer version of firmware? can i jailbreak it?
why or why not?

U can jailbreak it using snowbreeze.It has much more speed then previous versions with more supported apps.

is that an untethered jailbrake? i dont like tethered jailbrake.
