I like to try out new dishes. If I am in a restaurant I will go for new dishes but if I don't like them, I will make a mental note the next time I am there.
I look for new recipes and try them out and here again I will not make them again if I do not like them. But on a daily basis there are a few routine dishes I consume.

My brother who always went in for the exotic once picked up some frog legs. They tasted like chicken but somehow they did not appeal to me.

I always want to try the food called satay noodles.I saw it from a picture and it seems so delicious, but we do not have this kind of noodles in my city,it is the local specialty in Xiamen,Fujian province.I was decided to go there this winter, but due to the lack of money I have to put off my plan there.

I am the type of person that want to try new things/food all the time. Unlike some who are not too fond of eating exotic or unusual food, I am all for it! I have tried eating fried frog! Have you? Sorry if it has grossed you out, but it tastes like chicken! I have also tried eating monitor lizard. Well, actually, I didn't know what it was when my uncle offered me to taste it. He cooked it deliciously and again, I thought it was chicken!

The durian gives out a pungent smell which is unwelcome by most people especially by those who have not tasted it before. The fruit is thorny and when ripen the fruit fall from the tree by itself. In my contry Malaysia durian is suppose to be the king of fruits. It is a seasonal fruit which we are getting it once or twice a year. The price of the fruit dependes on various grade and species. Some are expensive. I like it slightly bitter and creamy sweet. I love tasting fruits available (local and imported)in my country. Simple fruits like the bananas and mangoes taste great. Same type of fruit but of different species have its special taste and odour. About cooked food, I'd love to taste all of it except for the exotica ones .. like monkey brain .. no no no

I never try to eat fresh fruit durian because of the smell and the effects in our body but i love the durian candy which always gives to me by my friend who's living in Davao were you see a lots of durian tree here in the Philippines. I always want to try different new kinds of foods or fruits in every place I go so that I know what the taste like and why people like it in this case i can differentiate the different kinds of food from my hometown or country to others.

I'm willing to try some new dish, but nothing exotic for me! I'm not that adventurous when it comes to food and I still prefer to stick to veggies, normal fish and shrimps, pork, chicken and beef. I just don't have the courage and he stomach for it. And no raw foods either lol! I guess that limits what I can try then.

i always love food, where ever i am, always love to try the food. When i go for travel, the first thing i have to do is trying the local food.
sometime i have to drive for 2 hours only for food.
Hmm, durian is the best fruit i loved. But i can't eat too much, and i am worry about the fat.

I like trying new foods....makes life more interesting. I have traveled alot and that is one of the things I enjoy about traveling...is trying new foods....new flavors! Unless its something extreme that I might not be able to stomach like brains or snake or something weird like that.

To combine travel and also food together is cool,i just saw a video about barcelona and its gorgeous food.I feel like it would be such a pity if i don't go.I was wondering why so many people mentioned eating snakes.I suppose it's so gross to eat that and nobody like it.

I heard to durian tastes lie a spoilt custard. I have never tasted it. Well i will try to give a shot by knowing if the dish has friendly ingredients. I would never try bizzare foods. Like fetus egg, fermented meat etc. Its gross.

Durian has foul odor and that's the reason why some people doesn't like it.
But I can assure it has a great taste and lots of healthful benefits to our body.
I am willing to try or taste strange foods too- as long as it looks good to my eyes.

i have no choice but to try different food, because I am new to this place. However, i still miss our own food back home. That's why when I came back home for a holiday, I cooked and eat all the foods that I missed eating. so no more cravings at this time. except for the fries, and burgers.. and ohh I forgot Pizza.. and hmmm spaghetti whatelse.. yes, cakes.. blue berry cheesecakes.

It depends on the food. I am willing to try new fruits and vegetables. But I'm not into exotic food like eating snakes, bats, rats. I am not comfortable eating meats that I'm not used to.
