A practical joke.

What a terrible joke! Sorry but I can't see anything funny in that. I think if you would do a thing like that over here (my country) you get sued. Also you will have to pay for the (health) damage you gave your co worker. I wonder how anyone can make such terrible jokes to someone else. What exactly is wrong with a person? I hope the victim will fight back and never have such an experience any more (as a joke or for real).

These type of pranks are really idiotic. This is a big example for those who are experimenting new kind of pranks. Before doing a prank, one has to think twice.

Oh, my. That coworker was insane. That's not even a joke. Sorry is not enough for that incident. I hope she'll be able to move on and remember that it wasn't real. It was just a prank. I hope she could overcome her trauma as soon as possible.

Once a friend of mine told me to lie on the back floor of his car, then he drove to a friend's house and told her I had been in a road accident and was in hospital. He told her she must go with him to a pub to calm his nerves. He drove to the pub and they went inside, then about 10 minutes later I walked in. That was not nice at all. I probably would have had a heart attack! I don't call it a practical joke. I call it being down right mean!

A practical joke or prank can go way to far and cause to much damage and horror to many. For example the two radio people in England who called the hospital to find out info on Kate Middleton's pregnancy. Well the call was put through because they claimed to be the Queen and the nurse who responded ended up killing herself over this prank. Surely she was not stable and the two pransters will probably never work in radio again. I'm sure they learned their lesson but now its too late. Some people just go too far and its just not worth it.

Some people are too cruel when it comes to joke. They never thought it might cause a big trouble to the victim. I have seen prank (not funny) but dangerous one. I just hope people think twice before making such jokes to other people.

Well, I would call it one joke idiot and stupid. Yes, stupid as it is the woman who did it! A joke must be trivial, and end with a collective laughter. Absolutely this joke should not have serious consequences, as instead has happened in the case you described in your discussion. It makes me wonder just in believing that there are people capable of doing pure malice toward their own kind! People really stupid!

There are sutff you shouldn't joke about. Especially stuff that could cause this much of a shock. Some people just don't think before they commit a joke, they only care about their own entertainment.
