He took 5 years to release his current album

I understand he has been busy getting married, appearing in movies. His movies havnet workd well. I would still love to see him in movies.
Nevertheless 5 years of waiting,, waiting and wanting..is not good. He is not fair to keep his fans on hold for half a decade. I think its irresponsible of him. See from Cry me a River to Love Stoned almost all of his songs are super hits. the radio plays them over and over again. He albums are all sale outs, platinum hits. He should spend more time to create music often and release albums more frequently.

Justin made mega-hits in the past.I am sure this time his songs will hit the charts again.Good artists never lose their touch in their crafts.Honestly,I haven't seen any of his movies yet.How many movies he had had in five years?

I have a conflicting opinion. It's not like he was lazy. Sometimes the best artists take years to make new albums, because they want to release quality. It's better than some autotuned quasi-stars spewing out half-quality albums every year. In my country, there's a saying that you need to take time for a good job, and that IS true.

i agree with dorofee. i would be disappointed if he'd release an album right away with songs that are lame. i'd rather he take his time to create quality music. anyways, he's got new materials. just wish the 5 years of waiting will be worth it.

Justin Timberlake is one guy that seems to be able to do it all. He is a very good actor, singer and dancer. If it took him five years in the making of this album it must be extremely good. I can't wait to hear the songs because he is so creative and good at writing really good songs. There is not one song of his that I don't like. As for the movies, once I know he is in the movie I have to see it because that's how good he is.

I'm also a Justin Timberlake fan. But I'm not aware that he took 5 years to release his current album because I'm too busy listening to other songs. So I'm not affected by the the time he took to release the album.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes u are absolutely right, i know many fans like u would like Justin to be answerable to all of us for being in isolation for 5 years. Artists needs to be active throughout the year so that they can come out with surprises and get more closer to their fans. i hope he makes a comeback very soon.

It may have taken 5 years but what an album indeed. I love the songs. I think he took his time to make it, thats true. But thanks to him and Timbaland, the two really produced a quality album. Honestly, I rather wait 5 years for it than get it in a year or two but for it to be not as good.
