There's a video going viral for all the public to see. An arrogant female activist and a feminist took away the mike from a student and basically say "Listen, listen, listen" to the student. You see the place where this issue is held is in the student forum. Where the students are allowed to voice their opinion. A female Indian student voiced her dissatisfaction against the government. She also stated why there's no free education compare to other countries. But the more she speak, she provoke the activist woman to take her mike away and silenced her even though the student didn't finish what she has been trying to say. According to the activist woman, she said that shaking hands with her and letting her speak is called respect. But she also said when she is speaking the student must listen and she refused to answer the questions asked by the student. Is letting shaking hands and letting someone speak called respect? Even though in the end you basically silence the person despite the fact that they didn't finish speaking and yelled Listen Listen into their face.

Somebody gives the activist woman a dictionary and skim to the R part. seriously, I know that debates and discussions can go crazy but this is quite a spectacle.I wonder if the situation gets flipped and the activist woman didn't get her say. I wish you uploaded the video so we can see the actual exchange. It just shows that the people who demand respect don't deserve it.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this incident, surely the activist activity is not a good thing. She must let the student to express her thoughts, but she don't allow her to express her real feelings, it is not a good activity as well as there is no respect involved in this incident

Well, I think she might have excused herself somehow, but if i was the Indian student, I'd feel I was disrespected coz I was still talking and wanted to say more and yet the activist came and had to take the mike.

I think part of... Shaking hands and letting others speak are part of the respect. It would be even worse if we don't have these rights. But it is not enough! Then, what is respect? Respect makes others feel like being treated as human beings. I sometimes heard this kind of saying, but what does "as human beings" really mean? I think it means at least "don't treat others as you don't want others treat you." Or speak in my specialty, don't do things that might trigger others' fear center of central nervous system.
