In my previous post, I asked about how to deal with depression. One of the things that has been making me extremely depressed lately is work. The pay is okay (a bit low) but the main problem is that they do not pay on time and sometimes they fail to pay the exact work hours. FOr instance I still have about 15 hours left unpaid. We called the attention of the administration, but they seem to be oblivious to everything. And to think I'm working in a very expensive university...

Most often, we encounter job related problems. If not with regards to salary, our boss, or co-workers. There is no perfect things. We always find flaw in anything that we do.
Like you I also find something which I do not like with my job. That is why I am trying my best to find another way such as having my own business and or having a nice income from online source. But as long as I cannot yet find anything that could replace my day job, I will have to bear with it.
Hopefully, we can find a good source of income that could provide us with our daily needs.

That's the biggest thing I hate about working for someone else. One thing I cherish the most is my time. I want to spend it, how I want to. That's not meaning I want to cater to anyone else, including a job. Maybe others - even my family will see this sometimes as wrong but it is my life right? So if a job is not paying me what I think is right... I just don't think I'd want to work that way. Plus as you say you're undervalued. Sorry for your situation.

Like I responded to your previous post, keep the job just until you find a new one that will be highly paid and on time. It's always frustrating when employers treat people like this. Fresh example from my country - the workers in one of the largest production companies in the country are on strike since December 2012. They haven't been paid since July 2012, most of the lost their homes to the banks and live without electricity because of unpaid bills. No Christmas for them, nothing. And we're talkign about approximately 3000 people, who have worked there most of their lives, people between the age of 35 and 60. There are people in worse condition than ours. My point was stick to your own, seek your right and look for a better job. Good luck with that!
