Why do the good die young?

This has been the incessant question that follows every time someone dies (especially if that someone is perceived to be a good person). Is it just coincidence or is this a logical consequence of being good? God forbid it's the former otherwise this world will be besieged by bad people. God works in mysterious ways. It is not our place to question God and his decision making. What we need to question is what do we learn from such a loss. I totally subscribe to the saying, "Things happen for a reason." Our lives are intertwined and all events provide a ripple effect in the lives of others. How this events affect us is a matter of choice and our choice is affected by the kind of attitude we have. As John Maxwell said, "God chooses what we go through; we choose how to get through it." A good person is someone who has positively touched the lives of many people. I do believe that good people die happy since they know that they have done their part in making this world a better place by imbibing in others the same set of positive attitude and life perspective to create yet another good person.

I have a lot of people say this from around here. I also think that it is purely coincidence. God is the one who makes it happen and for a very good reason as well. Only he knows which is better for all of us. We are all passengers here on earth and one day we will all have to leave this place like it or not. What we can do while we are still here, is to live our lives to fullest and enjoy every single moment of it.

I am a strong believer that each person, each individual was put on this Earth for a reason, the reason itself none of us know, only who put us here on this good Earth, whether it's God, Universe, we have a purpose, once we have completed that purpose then our life ends. Whether it is to help others, whether it is to invent things, whether it is to heal others, we have a purpose in life, a number of challenges to complete and how we complete these challenges is part of how we are judged when we do leave the Earth and of course what happens to us thereafter. I know it does seem like the good die young, but isn't man all good in God's eyes? After all he is supposed to be forgiving.

Last year I lost 4 people who were very close to me and all under the age of 60. One was actually 36 years old. They were all awesome people and I'm still asking myself the same question. Why does God take these people who are so young? I guess we'll never know.

It is sad to see that so many young people die young. There are different reasons. Some young people are affected by sickness. And since we are all imperfect we get sick, usually grow old, and then die. Some people are in the wrong place at the wrong time, others because of their own actions or the mistakes of others may lose their life at a young.

We can be taken anytime. The bottom line is that we need to be ready when that time comes.

There are not many people who become bad at early ages. Usually multiple disappointments, frustrations, inability to find a way transform good people into bad people. And this happens after a certain age for the most. But, if you believe in God, it shouldn't upset you very much. They received the opportunity to go into heaven. If they would have lived more, no one knows what could happen. God loved them, that's what i think about.

Yes, the incessant question. I often have asked it myself. I am an agnostic so I really question things. Don't just 'give it to God'. I if, thought good people die happy, I wonder if they feel cheated in some way. Or perhaps they believe that Fate has done her thing.

If I were to really philosophize about this I would have to say it was to spare them. That they touched the lives and done what they were meant to do and were taken to where ever else they were supposed to go. In saying this though, I think there are good that are left to keep doing what they are doing for the greater good. I think that it means something either way really.

Who says the good die young? Most people are born good, they change during life, the years. This besides of the fact that it's just our idea, in our head we all have to live forever, get old. Life is not about quantity (years, getting old) but about quality (what you do with it). Some of us don't need years to learn, to start living, to gather life experiences.

I think this is just a myth that good people die young. God is the Devine power that decides when a person will die whether he is good to others or bad. Good decides things for us on the basis of the works that w have done in our previous birth. It's on us whether we want a good life in out next birth or not.
