My cousin has a dog that have met in an accident. His whole back and legs are shattered but he is still alive. Barely though. He is in so much pain and he doesn't know what to do with the dog.
In my country dogs don't usually get the good treatment like overseas so there are only a few vets in my country. My cousin is from a poor family and there is no way he can afford a vet now anyway because he needs money for school as well.
He has two options: Watch the dog suffer in pain or make him past away in less pain by taking in life in the least hurtful way but something needs to be done.
What are the least hurtful methods of taking a dog's life? He is suffering too much.

No animal should have to suffer through that! Maybe there is a shelter that could give him so advice. The dog has to be put down and not by it's owner. Is there an animal control where he lives? They would be able to help him. please don't let that poor dog suffer any more than he already has.

My cousin is finding it really hard to cope and he doesn't think he can manage to take such drastic actions. There is no animal control where he lives. Where we come from, if a dog jump the gate and bite a stranger. The case doesn't go to court, its either the stranger kills the dog or the stranger go to the hospital. Our country aren't so civilized when it comes on to dogs, so we only have a few people who actually care about animals.
So you have no set method, of the easiest way for my cousin to make someone else perform the action.

Everytime I read such stories it makes me sick. I sure do wish that in this day and age other countries could have veteraniary hospitals for animals such as this poor dog. I am crying as I read this. I hope the dog doesn't suffer for much longer.

OMG that is just horrible. The dog can't be allowed to suffer in such pain. I'm sure there would be a vet willing to put in down at no cost. I believe if you are a vet who loves animals you would not allow this dog to suffer and would put him down for nothing since the owner does not have the money. I would tell your cousin to take him to the closest vet and to explain the situation and hopefully the vet will have a heart and do it for nothing. Please let us know the outcome whichever way your cousin deals with this problem. Good luck!

If I were in that situation, I couldn't let my dog just die. I'd probably try to give him medicine to alleviate the pain, but definitely no to Euthanasia.

I guess if your cousin willing to take the dog to the vet, and have the doctor end its life, that is the least painful way for the dog. The same situation for my uncle, who also has a dog, but the dog was too old, and my uncle just couldn't keep on spending money for it. At the end, he paid the doctor to end its life in a less miserably way. I hope that your cousin also understand it.

Yes this dog will have to be put down. He is in so much suffering. Perhaps you can search online for some fast ways that the dog can be put down. I don't know anyways besides him going to the vet. But I hope he does something quickly. It is hard to see an animals suffer.

I started to think of ways to put the dog down but as I processed the information. It felt wrong, it felt so wrong like I am planning some sort of murder, real murder. I have been searching online, but I can't really find anything that is why I asked. Any idea at all that you have, will be greatly appreciated.
