I believe the best way to get a passive income is to get residual income. That means you do the hard work for a while, then later you will continue to get paid for the work you already put in. So, for example, an artist writes one song - every time that song is played on the radio or downloaded, the artist gets money for it. She wrote the song once, but gets paid over and over again. She may have wrote the song in 1992, but if a DJ plays it on a radio station in 2013, she'll still get paid for it...work once, get paid multiple times. Perhaps what you can look into is getting into a field of work or starting a home-based business where you would have the do the work in the beginning, but it will lead to residual income. You can't get somethinhg for absolutely nothing. The best passive income starts with aggressive effort in the onset. Best of luck to you.
