The public library in my town is beautiful and comfortable and very serene. I love to go there and I can take my laptop with me if I want to. It is one of my favorite places to go all year long.

The library I go to tends to be noisy, when I was a child libraries were very strict on nice, and you could literally hear in a pin drop and you were frowned at for talking nowadays, libraries certainly in my area are far from quiet, cellphones going off and no one bats an eyelid, kids running around and screaming, teenagers on computers listening to music.

My dad always want to bring me to the top of the mountain so as we can enjoy the process of climing the mountain and to conquer the world. No matter what difficulties we've met,it's nothing and no biggie cuz only we can make us feel living the best of the world.

One place that can make me so comfortable is our bedroom. Just being there with the TV , laptop and component, is enough to assure me that i will be happy even if i am alone, jricky.
It is also in our bedroom, where i can pray fervently, without distractions. But that is , when my husband isn't home yet from work, because their dismissal is much later than mine.

It is very difficult to find such places, however I believe that any place can be magical as long as you have the so called peace of mind. Sure you can go to the beach, but if you're really problematic and you are thinking about a lot of things, I don't think the environment will be much of help. I think we can never run away from our problems, if we don't solve them as to where they are as soon as possible, they will be there to haunt you at their own pace. Even as simple as your own bed room can be unbelievably serene once you have the problem free mind, :)

jricky,
The most peacefull and comfortable place for me is my real farmville...my very own garden,Heavenly feelings when i see my orchids bloosoming and breath the fresh air while lying in hammock in my bamboo house.

hi, your question reminds me of the Lijiang town in Yunnan, i have been there for travelling in Qoctober 2012. In Lijiang Town, the pace is quite slow and you can hang out to enjoy the deepness of the old town, the road, the street, the people there all told you one word"peace", hope i can go there again someday.

Believe it or not the best place for me to go for peace is in my car! Whereas some people find driving stressful I find it very very relaxing and peaceful, it's like I am in my own personal bubble, away from everyone. Peace to me is not having people around and being on my own, with no one to disturb me! Trouble is that is so rare to find, apart from my car!

Hi jricky,
There are many places where I feel comfortable. My bed is one. I really like to be in my bed, even if I am am on laptop or watching TV. Same is with my sofa. Both are very peaceful to me. Since India is very crowded so everywhere you go it is very crowded and you just can not loose in your thoughts so I don't find any place peaceful other than my house.

Jricky,
There are times when I feel disturbed and just do not want to be disturbed. At that time there is a park just near my house. It has a small lake with ducks in it. I just go there and sit on its bank and watch the ducks. This sooths my nerves down and make my mind at ease.

There are times with everyone that he or she is angry and loose temper. At that time I need to find a place where I can vent out and be at peace. Though I can not go there much often but I find Dhramshala a small town in Himalayas. I go there as often as possible though it is far from Delhi, many hours away but it is such peaceful and beautiful that you can loose in nature for hours.
