George Lucas has passed the reins of Star Wars onto Disney, and there are some reliable rumors that JJ Abrams is going to be directing #7, which I think is just great, I can't wait for them to be coming out...
But I started to wonder... what will happen in episode 7?
When the originals came out, 1, 2, and 3 already had some planning behind them. It was already set to be the story of Luke's Father and Obi-Wan being together in a team, until Anakin turned to the dark side. It formed the beginning of the Empire, making clones to be storm troopers, and owning everything they could in the galaxy... until the unknown son of Anakin comes forward, and learns how to use the force, and with his father's help, destroy the ruler of the empire, bringing everything back to peace, once again.
So, its about the rise and fall of both the Skywalkers and the Empire, but now the empire is completely done for, and the new movies are to take place about 20 years after Return of the Jedi. so what will happen now?
Will Luke start a new Jedi camp, until one with great power tries to take over? Will the powers that be wish to take down everything around them? Both of those have already been done... who will be the main antagonist? What could possibly be stronger then a young man who was able to crush the gigantic empire?
I can't wait to see the new movie, and I have no idea what it could possibly be... but I have a feeling it'll be a lot of fun.

Just like at first SPIDER MAN..was supposed to be directed by James Cameorn..but he cant commite..due to few other ventures he needed to complete..alas Sam Raimi took the job.

I heard that Jimmy-C had written a whole treatment for the movie, but all of his ideas were scraped except the biological web shooters... no wonder he didn't want to direct the movie... it's his way or the highway!

J. J. Abrams brought us the TV show "Lost" which was so very good until they ruined it with the ending. It was the absolute worst ending of a really great TV that there has ever been. Anyway hopefully he will do a good job with Star Wars: Episode 7. The original three movies(which I guess were 4, 5 and 6) were quite good but the later 1, 2 and 3 were not nearly as good and 3 in particular was very poorly cast. Hopefully 7 will be up to the originals.

But Star Wars was always partly geared for kids, because kids were the ones who would get completely addicted to the series and buy the action figures for the rest of their lives! I think the best example of a part that was geared for kids was the Ewoks in #6... I mean, they were living teddy bears!
