I have gone through all of the books I've had forever, and finally read them all. Now I'm looking for something new to read. I generally like Stephen King, Nicholas Sparks, and lots of stuff in between. Have you read any good books lately that you'd recommend?

Have you ever read any books by Clive Cussler? I'm absolutely hooked on his stuff right now. If you aren't familiar with him, he is an adventure writer and many of his books(the Dirk Pitt Adventures) have to do with ocean exploration, sunken ships, treasure, and of course, bad guys. His books remind me of the Indiana Jones movies during the '80s. Endless adventure, thrills, and action as well. Just pure fun entertainment. I'm defintiely a Cussler fan and so hooked on his writing that I recently finished collecting all his novels. Now I've got a lot of fun reading ahead of me.

I LOVE Cussler! I have read the entire Dirk Pitt series, just finishing with "Poseidon's Arrow" last week. In the past few weeks, I have also read "Devil's Gate" and "The Storm" in the NUMA Files series. And, "The Tombs" with the Fargos. I currently have "The Spy" to read and then on to the Oregon Files starting with "Golden Buddha". I totally agree with you...he's an excellent writer and there isn't anything that I've read of his that I have not enjoyed!

Since you like Stephen King and Nicholas Sparks, I think you should read A Very Long Engagement by Sebastien Japrisot. It has a mixture of mystery, romance, war, travel etc.

i like to read too but i am a history fanatic and pretty much only read about history. right now, i am reading a book by Pierre Burton about the Great Depression (he is a Canadian author!). that being said, what i would suggest is to go to the library! i am sure you are bound to find a book that interests you there!

Have I read any good books lately? That's a loaded question...lol. Since the beginning of the year, I have read "Live To Tell", "Love You More" and "Catch Me" by Lisa Gardner. They are all a part of her DD Warren series, and are excellent reads. Also "Say Goodbye" by Gardner. "Poseidon's Arrow" and "The Storm" by Clive Cussler. I am currently reading "Beautiful Creatures" by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl, which I can't put down. Depending on what you like to read, I would recommend any or all of these books. I generally read action/adventure, mystery, thrillers, cop books. You can always turn to James Patterson, John Saul, Lisa Jackson, Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick, John Sandford, Michael Connelly, Nora Roberts, Jeffery Deaver, Iris Johansen, Tami Hoag to name a few. So many options out there, that I could a write a book. Happy reading!

I would recommend you read the bible. There are so many lessons to be learnt, and a God waiting for you to seek.
It would probably be worth more of your time than those you mentioned.

Hmm, if you are into steam punk romances, I would recommend Cady Cross's works.
You can also try comics like archie or read manga/japanese comics online. They're for free and they are fun to read.
You can also try Paulo Coelho's books, I've read his 'Alchemist' and 'Devil and Miss Prym'. Interesting books!

Well,I love reading too,and the book I love most is A dream in red mansions, which is one of the four major classical novels on china.I have read it twice, but I think it maybe a little difficult for foreigners to understand the classical novels in china. But if you are interested, you can have a try.
