I would love to show my teachers how much I appreciate them but I don't have any money. Any suggestions? They gave me books and I had the privileges of eating at their places a lot.

You don't have to buy an expensive gift. Why don't you make a card, pop-up or other artistic cards. You can search that on Youtube on how to make them. If your voice is good, then sing a song for them or write a poem about how much you appreciate them. You can also make bracelets made from materials that you can find in your home. Or just tell them that you are thankful, they feel your sincerity if that is really how you feel about them.

Thanks greenthumb018,
I'm not good with arts and crafts. One time I sketch a bird by tracing my two hands and I gave this to an art teacher. I felt embarrass thinking about it after giving it because it looked tacky. Too much arts and crafts where would they keep them? Some people are so nice and thoughtful and smart. I wish I can be the kid who is brave enough to pull the chair out for the teacher or put a cup on the table for the teacher or something but I'm so shy and slow. My friends take turn do that in school.

Why don't you make something with your own hands and give? Like a card with your own art on it and your words that how much you love and respect them, that will show more love. Or you can make some cookies at home and take some old cane basket or make a sweet basket at home or even old boxes can be reused. You can design and wrap them in colorful crafting and shiny paper make them look attractive, fill them with cookies, put a note written by you, that you tried to make something sweet like them etc. I think rather than buying things from outside make something yourself, i always do it and my friends or family just love it. Because the amount of hard work and time we put in them shows our love for them in pure way. And feelings don't need any money investments, they just need pure love.

Thank you Archie0
A card would be nice and everyone like cookies or chocolate. I can use the verses in the card to express my sincerity of my mind and the sweets can symbolize my sweetness in life when I have someone holding my hands. Sometime I see people with fancy gifts, big gifts, and I envy them, wondering if I can give someone a worthy gift. But I don't have much more so what I will do is put my whole heart into writing how much my teacher has shaped me during the time when I felt new and lost starting a new education in a new setting, and it is teachers like him that today generation depends on and remembers for a long time.

Hi there! =) I hope you are doing well. I am sure that when you are really serious about wanting to provide for a gift to someone important. I'd say you can give them something you made yourself, buy a card and then a gift you can surely use for better things, as well. =)

You should make them something. When we make something for someone it shows that we care about them. When you take time to make something for someone it tends to be more valuable than if you purchased it from the store, because it now has sentimental value.you know its like when someone gives you something when your grandmother or someone you truelly care about gives you something it means a lot cause someone gave you something they made with their hands.
