i want to share this situation. A (girl) was really hurt when she and A (boy) split up. she has S (girl best friend), her best friend as a shoulder to cry on. a few years has past and c claims she has moved on. a has already been rumored to be with other girls.
now C is crying disappointed that she felt S betrayed her because A has intentions of courting her. actually S told A to ask permission from C to court her since they're best friends and she doesn't want to hurt her.
my point is does C have an y right to be angry at S since she said she's already moved on? do you think S really betrayed her? or should be blame it on A? it seems like this issue severed the friendship between S and C.

Logically---NONE. However, in the rules of friendship there is that unwritten rule that you don't get to swap lovers (even if the other says it's ok). Oh, this rule is more applicable to the ladies only. Guys, don't give much stock on it.

I have heard of friends having rules on not getting involved with their friends' ex's. But I think that any one is free to do whatever for as long as there are no commitments from the past relationship.

If I would be on that position as in A, although this thing might hurt me, why would I still spend time thinking for someone who doesn't like me anymore.
Whew! The hardest topic for me. I am used to exchanging ideas about money making strategies, earning money and all about money but not about love matters. He he anyway, a new experience for me.

It's kind of an awkward thing when your ex-boyfriend started courting your best friend. It's a matter of a test/challenge in your relationship with your best friend. :)
