I like both patty and link style sausage, mostly the origional beef flavor. My teenage daughter and my granddaughter(my youngest son's daughter) liked the patty style, turkey sausage.
My granddaughter is now in elementary school now and lives in another county,so I do not see her as much. But,my daughter say's that she likes link sausage's better now.
Last week when I was in the store I saw and bought link style sausage's in the flavor of Brown Sugar and Honey. Both my daughter and myself loved them!My granddaughter wilol hopefully be here next weekend and I will buy more, cause we ate them all and see if she likes them.
Have you ever had this flavor?Did you like them?

I love link sausage but I like almost all kinds, patty, link, pieces its all good. Unless it is really poor grade or too greasy I like it. I wouldn't mind some link sausage and eggs now!

I haven't had sausage in a long while, I hope I can get some soon to cure the craving this discussion gave me.

I typically get pork sausage and I get it in the tube to make patties or to crumble for biscuits and gravy. I have bought turkey sausage before and I like it mixed into other things, but not just by itself. I have never really been a fan of the link sausage.

As a kid I dont' remember eating sausage at all, but that was a LONG time ago!
I don't care much for the links as they seem to cook weird...those little ones from Farmer John. Next to nothing to them. But I love the HIllshire Farm polish sausages..especially the ones with the chedder cheese inside! I can't stand turkey sausage!
But what I do like and is great... I make my own breakfast sandwiches... I get the biscuts , 10 in a tube... bake them. Then get the sausage in a roll and cut slices.. one roll gives 10 slices/patties of sausage. Then I has cheddar cheese.. and cut slices from that and some salsa. I cut open the biscuit, put salsa on the bottom, then the sausage patty, then the cheese slice, then more salsa, close and eat! I could eat them all day long! I make 20...2 tubes of biscuits and 2 rolls of sausage. I give myself 2 and then wrap the rest and freeze them. Every morning, I will allow myself ONE... unwrap from the plastic wrap, wrap in a paper towel and nuke for 45 seconds and instant fantastic breakfast sandwich!
What my grand daughter loves is the maple/brown sugar ham slices. Farmer John has those, about 1/2 thick ham slices.. and I cook them in a skillet, add about1 tbl of butter and 2 tbl brown sugar and just simmer the slice in that and YUMMY!!!

No, I haven't tried this flavor. I don't remember ever buying sausage to eat at home. I have eaten in the restaurants but not at home. Now isn't that odd? Maybe we will have to try some at some point.

Hi celticeagle, Yes that is odd.The best sausage out in my opinion is Bob Evan's. Do you have those restaurant's in your area?

I never heard of those either. I am obsessed with link sage sausage and could eat it everyday if I wasn't on this diet...I also love Park's sausage. The one that is a roll and you cut it into slices..that's the best to me..

No I don't like sausages. I avoid all kinds of processed meat for health purposes. It has been proven that processed meat contain a food coloring substance called sodium nitrate which is cancerous. Because of this, I have stopped eating all kinds of processed foods and have also set this same rule for my whole family.

yes there is a brown sugar flavored sausage and also a maple flavored one.
My husband is big on sausage but personally I am a bacon girl. I especially love the maple bacon. I will eat the maple flavored sausage a couple times a year.
I think they taste better with the added flavor although i dont want the extra calories added in them
