I am thinking of buying some books online and that first thing that popped in my head is Amazon. Of course, I'm not gonna buy the new stuff but I'm good on books iwth very good conditions. I also tihnk that I have to budget my money so that I could cover the shipment fee. Can anybody here recommend a bargain site for books?
I kinda liked Amazon because usually they don't run out of stock and they have this review which helps if the books great or not. Thanks for the suggestions?

Amazon is a great site to find newer books for a good price but my favorite site to buy books is http://www.thriftbooks.com/ they have a great selection for cheap prices and the shipping is FREE :)
also if you buy multiple books from the same warehouse you get extra savings :)
I hope this helps you get some good cheap books

Amazon always provides us a nice discount of new books. This is why I often buy books from Amazon. If you buy a certain amount, the delivery will be free of charge. And this is just a little amount, so I can accept it. In your cast, perhaps you can try to sell from Ebay.

Can you tell me how many books you have to get in the cart before they slash the shipping fee? I have quite a list and they might make the cut-off.

Before I purchase books, I check three places: 1) Amazon 2) Alibris and 3) Ebay. I keep in mind that both Amazon and Alibris charge $3.99 per book for shipping if you buy used. Ebay it can vary from seller to seller. I've gotten really good deals from all three. But regardless of where you shop, be sure to shop around so that you get the best deal.

I heard of Amazon and Ebay but I have yet to explore alibris. However, I have to say that I read some negative reviews about the site. I ma still canvassing and open for every site there is.

I am a longtime amazon customer and aficionado. I started using them when they only sold books! They frequently offer bargain deals and free super saver shipping. It was only inevitable I became a Kindle user. Books downloaded in seconds within purchase!
Another book seller you might want to check out is Edward G. Hamilton Booksellers. I used to receive a catalog in the mail from them and they had the most incredible prices with one small flat shipping rate no matter how many books you ordered -- this was basically during my pre-amazon days. They finally went online with their inventory.
