Well if I am not happy in my work and get overwork yet underpaid I better find another job which is better. But I will make sure that before I resign, I do have sure job to transfer. If we are not happy in our job it will shows in our performance somehow.

If I am confronted wit the same situation, I would rather resign.
It might do more bad than good on my health.
Going to work being unhappy is very stressful.
You might kill yourself softy with heart attack.
We can say that it is difficult to find a work these days but working in an uncomfortable zone is not advisable.
You better do business ! !

It is very disconcerting to have a job that you like to do and you do it well only to have tasks of the job be thrown your way that were not part of the job to begin with. It would probably be a sensible thing in this economy to keep working at the job , but take some time in searching for another job that brings you comfort in doing it again.

Well its too difficult to work in an environment where you doesn't feel comfortable. You should try to ask your boss either increase your salary for that extra work or cut down that out of contract task. So if your boss agrees to any of that option then you should work there and if he disagrees then you should start looking for some new job elsewhere. But till you find a good job, you should stick to this one.

I left my job previously because i could not survive the pressure of the upper department. They were just pathetic. And they always wanted more and more from us, plus they kept on notching us down every time. I cannot work in environment where i am not comfortable with the work surroundings. I thought it would be better for me to leave the job. I am making most of my time working online. I have some jobs coming to me soon to work from home which will equally pay me the same that my previous job paid. Plus i had developed few sickness when i was working, i am better at home now. I feel comfortable to work from home and i don't feel like joining outside at the moment even when i am getting offers. I think i will join a new job in another 1 or 2 months.

I will try the same if the situation is quite bad with things. However, it is always advisable to apply for a fresh/different job by holding the present one. Many people does the same because until we get a new job, we need to survive with the current one by suffering with certain extra pain with existing job. I remember one of my friend quit the job as the boss become so annoying one and she had to sit at home for 6-8 months to get a new job. Anyway, you can consider your peculiar situations and take appropriate decision.

Depends on the situation. Can you afford to look for anot6ehr job and how secure that next job will be? Can you ask for a raise or extra money for your services? How long have you been in the company -6 months is just a trial period for employers. How much the employers like your work? If they really like and appreciate you, they might consider rising your pay. Also, you need to build up your creds and your future employer that will hire you will ask why you left your current and soon to be former employer. If they find your answer lacking, you might not get the job v even if they are hiring.

I really find many people who are already comfortable and contented in their work but some really seeks for something that captures their interest no matter how low the salary maybe. Its all about the things you do that gives you satisfaction and happiness.

Yes, that's the reason why I took an early retirement. but before I do that I am quite stable. I mean I know that I have money to use for the "rainy days" that was my retirement pay.
It is still your choice, if you are not happy then leave. but if you don't have any job yet, then it is your choice again whether you want to be unemployed and if you can afford to be one until you find one.
