I understand youd like to lose some weight there. Try drinking alot of water and walking. My sister in las vegas used that, and lost 15 lbs in 30 days. When she was hungry she ate some veggies. Good luck to you there.

I used to struggle on losing weight before too, I started eating low calorie food and salads too and I've been active on going to the gym and do treadmill. I also watch YouTube for some metabolic exercise which helped me a lot. Now I am just maintaining my current weight not to gain more.

I have the same issue, I eat what a normal person my age eats and am overweight. I stopped eating a snack late at night for over a week and though that would have some sort of impact but in fact I gained weight! Its very frustrating and nothing seems to work, although I didn't do anything extreme, even those little things are quite a difference and I hoped I would at least lose one pound. You should see a nutritionist to help you, I don't want to see one myself but maybe you'll be open to it.

Have some jogging in the early morning if you have time. Also you can do some night walk in your lawn or near by after your night time dinner. You can also maintain some eating schedules like 2 meals a day along with morning breakfast.
I mean these are just simple ways. Basically I have been in my average from the very childhood, so that's all I can suggest, rest depends upon you, or you can try the other ways as the other fellow users suggested.

You could join a dieting site to help you understand the calorie intake. Some sites provide detailed breakdowns of foods you eat to help you gain a better understanding of your own diet and you can learn what you can change to make it better.
I have lost 21 lbs since July. This has been done with paying attention to the foods I eat. I also exercise regularly and take everyday opportunities to work on my muscles. When doing laundry I do lunges and squats. When going up stairs up do calf raises, etc.
Drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated. Eat lots of fruits and veggies and limit your intake of red meat. Dieting is so bad in my opinion. I have thought of it more of a lifestyle change, that way I do not feel guilty when I give in to my cravings because I know, in the grand scheme, I am doing well and making changes.
Remember when you get quick results you often go back to your original weight quickly. It takes time to make long lasting changes to our bodies, be patient and get yourself on a good routine!
Good luck!

Join Weight Watchers International and follow their point system. Their philosphsy isn't that of following a diet because it implies you go off the diet when you lose your weight. I've list 50 pounds in the last year. I've lost over a hundred in all but that was due to gastric bypass surgery. The surgery only works for about 18 months and then you start gaining again if you don't change your lifestyle habits.
Weight Watchers helps you to change your eating and activity habits. Even if you have just 20 pounds to lose its totally worth the money to join. I love it that I have the WW apps on my phone so I can keep track of my food intake, points, and weight on my phone.
