I am really lazy when it comes to changing guitar strings. It just feels like a chore to me and I keep putting it off. I do love a new set of strings though. They feel so clean and sound so bright. I usually only change them when they get really worn our or when one breaks. Some of my guitars have strings on them for almost a year. How often do you change yours?

The most time I took to change my acoustic guitar strings was probably like 7 or 8 months, that string set was so playable until it became rusted and I eventually had to change the whole set, but none of those strings were pulled. Just like you, I just love new strings as they produce some nice electric guitar-like sound when they are new and shiny.

Yeah I wish I had a guitar tech to change my strings when they get worn. Then I would probably have new ones on every month.

My kids changed their guitar strings when it start to worn out. You need to have a good strings for a better sound and you don't want to hear your guitar sounds like complaining.

The new strings do sound better. I guess i'm just lazy when it comes to changing them. I'll keep them on for a while even if they are worn out because I hate chamging them.

It would be good to change the string every 3-4 months but it's not so necessary. It's enough just to clean with smooth cotton or microfiber cloth and they will look like new ones. And the most important thing is to clean after every playing of guitar. With this procedure the string will be kept very bright and shine with crystal sounding for a long time.I hope this advice to be very helpful. Best Regards!

When I have enough strings and can be bothered to, I'll do it once a month. I think 6 weeks is the recommended time frame but it depends on the strings too.
