India though has won the One Day International Cricket Series against England by 3-2, its show today at Dharmashala, Himachal Pradesh, India was quite disappointing. The top order batsmen have lost their wickets as if they were competing with each other to get themselves out. Team India could have won the match if managed to add another 25 to 30 runs to create pressure on the visiting team. But since the top order batsmen couldn't do their duty properly the rest of the players had to toil to put up an modest score which the Team England could equalled and superceded very easily! Indian Cricket team sould wake up now and think seriously about the team work! Some time it is failing miserably in the bowling side and some times in the battimg side. It is really disgraceful to see that a country where Cricket is consiered as a religion we don't have a National team which is a dependable one! Your comments on the topic will be highly appreciated! Thanks !

Weather and climate are invisible players in cricket matches, especially in Day and night matches. Winning toss is is important in such occasions. When number of matches increase more clear picture in team capabilities and performance data is arrived. England isn't a team to loss for 1-4 to India. Cold conditions are more favour to England side. This ODI series is over with advantage to India and India should prepare for the next series with positive approach.

I agree with your point that weather and climate do have a role in determining the out come of a cricket match , especially in day and night one!I again agree that England may not be a team to be beaten upby India by 4-1. But the way Indian team lost the top order in the final match irritates most of the IndianCricket fans. India could hav won the match it the top order batsmen tried and played their part well! This match was rather gifted to England by the top order batsmen of India. Well as you say now the Indian team shpuld seriously concentrate for the coimng matches and prove their mettle! Thanks a lot for participation dear friend! Have a nice time!

India is the world champion in cricket. So the expectations from team India is very high. But their present performance is not up to the mark. We expect better cricket from them. Recently they have lost the one day series to the arch rival Pakistan. It is really a shame for team India. They should try to play seriously and give the fans a good comeback.

You are right dear Alaminanik, India is the World Champion in crcket and that is why a lot is expected from the team. People in India for whom Cricket is a religion, they can't digest the fact that thir super heroes are performing so recklessly and carelessly in such important matches. Falling of the top order in the final match aginst England in one day series was too frustrating! It is high time now that players should realize their duties and take the responsibility of making the Indian team a trust worthy one or a dependable one! Thanks a lot for participation , I liked it! Happy Mylotting!

Well, I think we should first realize that cricket is also like other games, where one day we can win and one day loose. Yet, Indian cricket players need to put up a good fight always, and put up their best.

I still think that the ODI performance was a big improvement over the cricket they have played over the last two months. With Rohit having scored 80 odd in the 4th match, now he will go on a run of 10 odd matches without scoring much. I am very happy for Bhuvaneshwar Kumar who was the find of the last two series. On the other hand, people like Rohit should finally be dropped. Cheers! Ram

Focus should be on team building, improving skills in batting, bowling and fielding as well as focusing on keeping bowlers fit. Otherwise, a win or two here or there would not matter much.

yeah, completely agree with you my friend. In my opinion Indian cricket team is still under the hangover of Sachin's retirement. Anyway Sachin's retirement clearly showed the flaws in the team. Indian cricket team members always have to remember one thing that Sachin retired only to get chances for the youngsters. And if you youngsters are not going to perform well and bring glory to team India, then I should say that this would be the greatest disrespect showing to our master.

Its time for us to wake up and start using our time in a meaningful way rather than wasting on them. They win or lose take home crores. What do we get, NOTHING,so start ignoring cricket and make good use of your time in this period of recession and inflation.

It's a new team . Most of the bowlers are new i think they will be pretty good if selectors will select them perfectly. But the main problem was the top order batsman. Rohit sharma played a nice innings on previous match but with the new ball in this match he failed to stick on the wicket. Raina got out at the wrong time.If he stayed may be 25 30 runs could be added to that total. Though they win that series but seriously it's time to buckle up that team

I do fully agree with you. Inspite of the series win, the Indian cricket team needs to do much more. By the way, you are not much active on Mypage5? Is it because of lack of activity there?

team india have very gud players but just the matter of fact this that when ever any player plays well our people and the media show them that they are the best players ever ,made and in the next match they all come down due to there ego or whatever you say.

Well, the match at Dharmasala was without much fight. The top batsmen did not apply much themselves. But then considering what indian cricket has been off last, there was nothing much to anticipate. But then it seems team is lowing building up like they did 4 years ago.New talents are bought in and tried and that is adding to spirit. We might know the exact picture in coming days. But then there is also the losing physiology which needs to be tackled.Few wins and things coming better for few players, things could change. The next couch needs to have better communication and should do a good job on the players like Joh wright and Gary Kirsten.Importance should be more to young blood than seniors. But if seniors are performing then we shall have them.Plus we should not be over expecting our team. Its ok to lose a few matches. But the manner in which they are lost is a big concern. Our test playing eleven should improve not only abroad but also in India.Selectors are doign their best i guess.Hopefully, we will see a better team in coming series. Thanks!

Transition is always painful and something which needs a lot of patience and focus. Hopefully, Indian team would come out good of it.

I am not too sure if we would have won the match, if we would have scored 25-30 runs more. Our bowling side is weak since many years and we mostly bank on our batters to win the match for us. It is not the ultimate result (win/loose) which upsets, but the manner in which you loose the game. It is a very unpleasant site when top order batsmen like Rohit and Virat play a reckless and needless shot which puts a lot of pressure on the middle and lower order.
