Animals that live in apartments dont get enough "outside time"? My Fiance and I have quite a few animals...a cat a dog...a bird, and of course our two swimmer tutles!! We live in a three bedroom two bath apartment, and its just our animals and us...do you think that we shouldnt do this to animals?? I try to think happy about it and say atleast there not abandoned on the street...what do you think?

It is better for you to give them a home than them living on the street or in a cage at the pound. All we could do is the best we can for our animals. For instance, we have to tie up dogs. Yet, by nature they should be free. But we are not allowed to let them roam free. It is the law.

it is the law because they want less animals to die that way...I just dont know. I own animals because me and my fiance love them not because I want to mis treat them and such!

I'm sure you take very good care of your 'babies'.Any critter that lives inside isn't going to get enough exercise,PEOPLE who stay inside don't either.Just do the best you can and don't worry about it.At least they have a home.;-)

Thank you for your response..Its very nice that someone can see outside the box...they always have food in the bowls, always have water, we have a balcany and the door is always open for them. They get walked regularly...I work about 5 minutes away from wear I live, infact I can see my apartment where I work...and I can come home at any time and check on them!!! Thank you again Happy thanksgiving!!!

I have 2 cats and one of them goes outside. This habit was started by my husband when she was a kitten. The new kitten wants to go out now. She sees the older cat going outside and wants to do the same. But, she gets freaked out once she is outside. I am not sure that I would want to bring my fish out for a walk....or should I say swim?

Animals will give you a sign if they are'nt happy. I would'nt worry about it. My dogs dont go out much maybe 3 times a day to go to washroom and thats it. I honestly think they are just happy with attention from their owners rather then wanting to go out all the time

Animals that live in the house are an abomination. Animals are not made to stay inside. But they do, because the selfishness of man.
