I almost puked, I got a Mocha from McDonalds. I didn't drink all of it when I was at work, so I came home drinking it.
I felt something in my mouth, and spit it back in the cup. It looks like a chunk of hair, I almost puked. I mean it's different if it were mine at home, but from public place.
I am calling head office and complaining tomorrow. This is just nasty.

You have all the right to complain. Them being know for the past 30 years has a reputation that they need to maintain. And they should always make sure that not only their service are provided well, but more than that is that the food that people eat from them are safe.

Yes its their responsibility to maintain that reputation. They are committed to provide customers high quality products. They said that we take pride in food we serve, so lets see how much pride they will take in this case. So Ricki make them realize their mistake and later tell us what they are offering to you.

hi Ricki my hubby when he was alive took me to my favorite
restaurant for dinner on my birthday. We had steak and baked
potatoes and beans,My baked potato was stone cold so my husband
asked a waitress with red hair to reheat it int the microwave. She was not too happy about it but she did then brought the baked potato back and set it on my plate with a smirk. It was hot so I opened it to spoon on sour cream and shrieked as there was a hunk of human hair and it was dark red. I was so upset I could not talk but my husband could . He took the plate to the manager who looked at that hair and called the red headed waitress over,He yelled at
her" you are fired. I will mail you your paycheck." he apoloaized and got me a whole new plate everything hot and he did not chrage us for my dinner was on the house

Ewwww! That is mag-nasty! I don’t blame you for that. The corporate office should know about issues like this because some employees are getting lax. I feel that hair nets should be worn. I’m so sorry that this happened to you. I am like you; I wouldn’t react so badly if it is my own hair or if the hair came from someone in the house… I mean it can happen. But when you are at work, you are supposed to wear some kind of hat or head gear to keep your hair out of the food and drinks. Please follow up with what the main office says. I believe they will give you some coupons to get free stuff. They want to keep you as a customer. That much is just common sense.

It is, I use to work in a different franchise for 8 years, I know what it's like. We always wore a hairnet, and never had this issues. I will call tomorrow if I have time between jobs. It is different at home, because you know where it came from, whereas in public you don't know this.

woah! disgusting! I know how you must be feeling. But do you think you will get something out of complaining the head office. As a friend has mentioned, they will surely offer you 1 free mocha or something else or they can go to an extent of giving you a free voucher which you can use for a day or so, and yes, not to forget, they will surely apologize to you and they will ask you to keep getting back to them again and again and they would say that this mistake won't repeat again. This is what all companies will say and as long as you won;t mind going back and eat there, you can all them and voila! you will be getting something as a compensatory food or something. Oh yes, again, hopefully, that food doesn't come along with another chunk of hair in it.

Then again the hair is probably more palatable than the rest of the crap they serve in McVomits
all the best, urban

I was going to ask the same questions about your hair but are you sure nobody in your office did this nasty thing? I mean you did mention that you had it with you to work.

That is nasty. This is another reason as to why I am hesitant about eating out anywhere anymore because of the things you find in food or drinks now. I rather prepare it myself at home and then I know it's safe to eat or drink.

Did you open the cup life after you got it. Because it is possible that it is your hair and you not know it. I can count many times where I found my hair in food from other place and in my home. So before doing so I would make sure with out a doubt that it isn't your hair but someone else.

This sometimes happens, I also had an experience where I was eating at a fast food chain and there’s some unusual things over the food.
What I did is I complain to their Manager and ask for a replacement over the food that I had ordered, it’s best to complain because it will correct the staff’s hygienic habits in terms of serving their food for the customers.

Definitely you should complain regarding this and then see what will be their reaction. I never expected that from McDonalds and that will certainly hurt their image. As far as I know they have high quality standards so how can they make that blunder. I am sure they will also be shocked after listening this and will take serious action regarding it. Best of luck for your compensation.

that is nasty, even many of my friends had found something or other sick things in their burgers or cola or coffee. I think you should complain and sound impolite and irritated. They have to take action against being clean and taking care for people. They will apologize you with some benefits. What i love most about this is they really have to pay us heavy if we find something like this. I always want to find something in my tray but never get otherwise i have better ideas for them.

That is disgusting! But I saw the wrose: When I was a college student, one day I had dinner in college canteen, I found a roach emerged in my unfinished food! That's really awful! I hope you get a satisfied respondse, cuz as customers, we spend 100% money to buy things, we definitely deserve 100% service!

Eww, that's nasty. Well you are right, if it's happened at home, it maybe your own hair or something but in public place, just nasty. It's not a good experience to have. Sorry to hear that :(
