today i feel a certain craving for veggies.....this past few weeks i usually eat protein-rich food and i felt a certain discomfort in my body system. so that is why i crave and look for vegetables in the supermarket. but sad to say, the price of the veggies here are too expensive because of the cold weather here. but no matter what the case, i must eat veggies to satisfy my cravings! and to make an absence on my protein-rich food diet. will you lend me some recipes on how to cook good veggies?

I would suggest you to look at the internet and there are lots of good recipes. I like to have vegetables with rice and with breakfast. I also like vegetable soup very much.

It is a pity that veggies are expensive where you live. We always have some cheap veggies in my country, depending on the season. If veggies are expensive where you live, you should make the most out of them. Beet leaves can be eaten raw or steamed. I boil longer the trunnk of cauliflower and broccoli and make soups or fritters with them. You can also make puddings, with beaten eggs, a little white sauce and parmesan cheese. Try vegetable risottos (you can check recipes online). I am not eating half of the meat I used to, and still have a well balanced diet, but with more fiber.

If your body is craving vegetables, it is wise of you to eat the veggies. Our bodies have a way of telling us what they need. I find the easiest, and sometimes cheapest and healthiest way to buy veggies is frozen. If you buy the steam bags, all you have to do is pop the bag in the microwave (which is also a healthy way of cooking them) for a few minutes.

Go for the seasonable vegetables like carrots, beans, peas, cabbage etc. They won't be very costly. Boil all the veggies in a cooker with salt and water. This can be used as soup with little butter.otherwise you can take some oil and fry the boiled veggies a bit.add some turmeric, ginger paste.stir for a few minutes and cover. It would be not only tasty but healthy as well

That is good for you for veggies are really healthy. The best thing I did a recipe for veggies was when I stir fried them with olive oil and spice them with salt and pepper. Yummy indeed and healthy. :-)
