When the weather forces you to stay inside. how do you cope?

In much of the Northeast and various airports it is not the best day. There is ugly weather already and more is on the way. Luckily, I don't have much to do in the outdoors. I have enough work to keep me occupied. Two articles and a book review ought to keep me from going crazy. Especially knowing how little of my work is actually finished. I haven't even cracked the spine on the book and the review is due on Friday.
How about you? Are you already cabin fever crazy or, like me, are you cozily curled up, with more than enough work to do if you could only motivate yourself? I am awaiting responses from those in New England, but I welcome responses from Mylotters globally tell me what force of nature makes you say inside and how you avoid going crazy when you can't get out.

I moved to warmer weather - that is how I am coping. Got tired of the rain in the northwest of the USA.
My family and I joined an athletic club and so, we would go swimming when we got cabin fever. Or we just put on our rain boots, rain coats and umbrellas and went for a walk in the rain. The rain ain't gonna kill us - and a walk in the rain is refreshing.
I have a lot of hobbies, crochet, knit, jewelry making, homemade greeting cards, photography, etc. which keep me busy when there is a storm outside.

As a super fan in computer game,I never face such a problem as you, because even the weather is quite good I still prefer to stay at home and play my computer game.

I enjoy winter weather. I find looking out at a snow-covered landscape to be quite cozy. I would find it even cozier if my boyfriend and I were looking out at that snow-covered landscape from the inside of our own little cabin, rather than an expensive-to-heat rental though.
I have plenty of stuff to do inside when the weather is too treacherous to venture out. There is always plenty of writing to do, housework, reading, movies to watch, numerous programs DVRed... Plus, I'm not one who gets cabin fever all that easily. Unfortunately, such is not the case with my boyfriend. He gets very antsy rather quickly--rather unfortunate given our northern locale.

I don't go crazy when I am confined in the house because of bad weather. What could I do? Besides I am used to not going out when bad weather comes. I just get worried if it gets worse and might cause a flood or the wind might blow the house away.

I'm a home buddy, I am used to being indoors. I turn on the computer and the internet and surf the internet. Sometimes I watch movies on tv or read a book. Or drink hot chocolate.
Sleeping is also a good way to pass time.

I'm sorry you're having problems out there.. The weather is kinda fair here. It drizzles sometimes but it's mostly fair. Actually, I kinda appreciate staying outside, just hanging out, with this kind of weather. Most of the time, it's sunny here that's why I just feel like enjoying this type of weather.

Actually, I am just a "home" person. I grew up just being at home most of the time. Well, I do think that the way my parents wanted me to be as a kid, still I was ale to carry it till adulthood. Not that I am not interested to be with my friends, but I just like to be in the comfort of my home most of the time.
I do not like rain. When I need to go somewhere and it rains, I rarely go through with it. I hate the splatter of raindrops on my feet. So, I;ll let the rain past before I'd go to where I'm supposed to.

Hi,
I don't mind the cold if it drives me inside, I can do a lot of things in my workshop or on my PC if the power stays on. When the light blinks out, then it is time to don the heaviest clothes and wander into the wilderness with a rifle and survival gears for old time's sake.
What drives me crazy is the soaring temperatures during summer. That really get on my nerves, literally. It hurts to have the hot sun on my eyes, overheating equipments, firing hot system unit and running a high electricity bill just to keep cool. Times like that, I long for the day when the cloudy skies shall be overhead once more.

The question is what exactly is the force of the weather. If you need to go out you go out (which I do need with a dog and my animals who stay outside to feed) So I am outside daily.
I don't care to stay inside. I can read, paint, do everything I like. We live inside our house most of the time anyway.

It depends on my mood and who I'm with. Usually, when I'm alone, I'm not necessarily a busybody who can't live without running around in the city or in the fields, give me a good book or a dozen of funny cat videos on Youtube, or some work (ideally with a kickass music playlist), and I'm okay. But when I'm with other people, I can miss going out and going for walks a lot, those are activities I love to do, but only together with others. But I can cope with that, too, with playing boardgames, chatting and watching movies.

I love it.... Im inside most of the time anyways. I only wish rain would stop here so I can hang cloths out to dry. I love sitting at my desk and see the rain fall. Have a great day there....

This winter period is loosing my energy. I barely go out because it's cold and
snowing and I don't like it so I'm staying home most of the time like a bear hibernating. I'm in front of the computer most of the time earning some little amount and doing household chores everyday..it's getting boring.

If I answered this question when I was younger, I would have answered "read a book". But times have changed and the internet changed what I do during my pasttime. Provided there is internet despite the heavy rain, I would try to respond to myLot or write until my brain bleeds.

If i have internet then i need to go nowhere to have a good time myself. And now with myLot the weathers actually don't matter unless it affects my internet.. Lol..
