we had our high school get together.A mate discussed if anyone interested working abroad since one batch mate is connected with an agency. I asked if there is a country on their list that has no death penalty and I will apply there.last year, a few poeple from my country were executed for drugs.few years back,a woman was hanged in SG because she killed someone or her employer. It made me paranoid, what if these people are just victims of circumstances of frame ups? of set ups? and no matter how they tried to prove their innocence, still their life perished. what if someone get mad at me and frame me up at work? things like that makes me think, how safe I will be in a foreign land. They laughed at me but I understand them. I have been to korea and Malaysia and Ive seen things, you are very close to risks if u are surrounded with people that may inflict harm on u. I am happy, philippines abolished the death penalty, I feel safer here. It is easy for other to tell take the death penalty back, I wish they would think what if one day, the world rolls against me? whats ur opinion? Am I just certified paranoid? hahaha ;-)

I can understand this line of thinking of yours. I bet there are a lot of others as well who worries and thinks of this as a concern when they go out of the country. The truth is that we can never really be safe in a foreign land because you are not in your country, you speak a different language, your cultures and your opinions vary and it is true that frame ups can be done... you can be convicted for something you did not really do just because you are a foreigner and they really do not think you are able to get yourself out of this trouble... besides our country is quite popular these days for the ofw exports hmm many other countries look down on us... that makes us easy get away targets.

no, i don't think that it's anything wrong with the way you are thinking. i would be afraid to go live in a place that is not the united states. it's where i have lived all my life. it is very possible you could get caught up in another country.
