those beautiful lights at night

I like to see the festive lights at Christmas time. They give me a warm and happy feeling inside. My favorite city is Sydney and it is so beautiful lit up at night time. I enjoyed seeing the lights around its gorgeous looking harbor. I stayed on top of a mountain at a youth hostel in Hong Kong. In the evening the lights below looked very pretty. Yes, the views were amazingly beautiful. On New Year's Eve in the past I used to go to the sea front and see the lights over the water in Wales. Some people had some fireworks and at a distance these seemed lovely.

That reminds what I saw in the sky. I was on my way from the Newark airport to my niece's house. They had come to pick me up at the airport. It was night and when I looked up I saw a huge line of aircraft parked in the sky waiting for the signal to land. I had never seen such a spectacular sight and when I drew the attention of my niece she said that although they have been travelling in the night picking up guests or themselves getting back from their holidays it had never occurred to them to look up!.

Life is still worth looking forward to because life indeed offers endless wonders, amazement and surprises. Just like my favorite line from the movie Forest Grump, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Truly those city lights inspires me too. It tells me that there's always light even in the darkest times of our lives. It serves as an inspiration but the urge to strive for a better live and a comfortable future will always be stronger for me in order to strive harder in life and not just set goals but meet and exceed them. Life is truly amazing! :)
