How to gain referals ?

I am a student and need some extra pocket money to meet my daily expenses. So I have joined a few PTC sites in order to earn some extra money. But the problem is, as many of us know PTC sites are very slow earner until and unless you have a good number of referals. I have been clicking sincerely since 4 months but will take many more days to reach payout. I am very upset.
I don't understand how people gain referal because in most of the sites posting your referal links are not allowed. And I don't have own blog or website. Please suggest friends on how can I get more number of referals. What you people do ?

Well, what I'm about to say is unfortunate but it is also true. Most people online who want to make money do not want to help others make money. Even if you suggest something to them that will benefit them or help them to make money, they would most likely delete your referral link and join the site from the homepage instead because they are selfish. I have learned this about most people from my experience being online.
It is still possible to get referrals though, but it is hard as real genuine unselfish people most times hard to find. But yes, as they said above, there are some forums that allow you to post referral links in them. I don't think that method would bring you a lot of referrals though. When it comes to getting referrals these days it is more like being lucky, or knowing actually knowing the persons so that they will honestly sign up under you.
