Last Friday, January 25, 2013, me and my friends arrived at Lagaue before 6am but it look like 4am in the morning... One of the dog welcome us with his loudly barks. we didn't scared when we saw that his tail was waving, as if he was really happy to see us... We ask for direction where the vehicles or terminal going to banaue. and it really far in the place where currently standing... Since it has a schedule of departure we decided to start walking... the dog trail us.. at first we thought that he just want a food but then he start walking fast as if he know where we are going to.... after a few moment of walking with him, he stop, and when we look around, we noticed that we are now on the terminal.. we just amazed... as a reward, we gave him bread but he didn't eat. and do you know what? he waited the jeep to went away before he came back to his place.... Nice tourguide, isn't?

In my opinion dog is the most intelligent and faithful amongst all animals, they can do any work if trained properly, this one was trained to act as a guide no doubt, i am also aware of dogs that can sense if its owner has heart attack, some are trained to save a drowning person too. Thank you so much for this discussion.

actually, i don't think if he was trained as a tourguide, as far as i can remember, he just out in his home just to make a pee.. and take some walk, like our dog do every morning.... and i agree with you... dogs are the most intelligent and faithful among all the animals...

Wow. I would rate the dog 100/100. Oh my gosh. The dog is so smart. No wonder why people called him "man's best friend" and I am so sad that some people ignore this saying. It is because some people don not believe that a dog is a "man's best friend". I remember my brother. When he came home and he saw our dog, he's the one who always complain a lot and he kept telling us that a dog has no benefit to other people. They're just a pet, huh?

oh, that's a big ouch.. ever since i was a little child, i really appreciate dogs.. not only that, i love them, not because they are smart but because they love people more than an animal can do.. they have sharp fangs but even you beat them, they wont bite you... see? they can express their love and gratitude in every way they can...
