How is the weather in your area?

The weather has been so strange lately. Just two nights ago we had freezing rain and snow on the ground. Today though it will be sixty degrees. It's no wonder there are all types of storms happening in the last so many years. It's scary to think about how these drastic changes can cause deadly weather.

It snowed all day yesterday. This morning I was surprised that the buses were running for the school kids. Five geese just flew over. I think we got atleast four inches yesterday. I guess this gives the snow pushers a job.

Yeah that is a lot of snow. The snow and ice we had has melted and now it is sixty degrees. We have been seeing a lot of geese as well. My daughter enjoys hearing them fly over. I can't complain too much about not really having a winter since I'm not a fan of the cold but it will make for one harsh summer this year.

It's about 30 degrees outside right now, in Minnesota (of the US) and to me that feels like summer - or at least spring - compared to the last week where we have had high temperatures of below zero. Sucky. Sixty degrees sounds really good right now. I don't really care what it is as long as it's more than 10 degrees, and as long as the sun pokes out and makes an appearance. Something about the sun really motivates me to get things done!

Yeah I know what you mean. It has been cloudy and dreary here lately. It would be nice to see the sun come out sometime soon. It makes me feel tired and lazy when it's like that. But I do know that winter isn't going to feel very long if it continues to be like this. I'm thinking that we will have a very harsh summer though since we haven't really had a winter.

Well we had two days of snow / ice. Two separate days, as it'd thaw then two days later it was ice instead of snow. It thawed quickly and it now appears we are getting into thunder storm weather.
The high today is 70 here! It's crazy and amazing, yet scary because well weather like this shouldn't be happening!

I completely agree with you. I like the fact that we haven't had much of a winter but I know it's not a good thing. It often leads to storms, tragedies, and very hot summers. This type of weather does make us feel like spring is here and that winter wasn't long like it usually feels.

It's all very odd isn't it? I've never known it being so weird practically all round the globe. In the UK we've had snow and ice last week and now it's a lot warmer than it should be for the end of January.
Goodness knows what next week will bring!

Yeah I completely agree with. I wouldn't mind not having a winter but then it makes for crazy storms. Yeah today will be a decent temperature I just hope that tonight it doesn't drop down to the thirties. It makes it hard to know what to wear when the temperature does this. I know though that the winter is going by pretty fast since we haven't really had much of one. I though expect that this will more than likely mean we will have a very hot summer.

I'm glad to hear that you love the snow. I just can't stand it. I don't like driving it and I don't like the cold. But it's because I lived in this type of area for most of my life. So it can get to me. I hope though that in time my family and I will at least be able to travel somewhere warmer during the winter months if not live somewhere else.

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm not much of a fan of the cold weather. I would much rather live somewhere that is warmer. Or at least be able to travel to a different place during the winter months. Hopefully in time I will be able to safe for something like that. My in laws live in this area so I don't see a change of location anytime soon for us.

the weather is really nice, its colder than usual since the cold air from china gets to the country... hehe we have saved a couple of bucks by not opening a fan. but usually the weather is dry here in Manila... we only have rainy season and the summer... and it can be really hot during march to early June and rainy from then to about september. =)

Where I live, it's pretty much been just completely cloudy. I think it's supposed to rain (possibly be a thunderstorm) later tonight however. Last night the meteorologist said we might be put under a tornado watch tonight but hopefully all it will do is rain.

In Bangladesh weather is very comfortable. Temperature is almost 23 deg C. few days back temperature was about 4 deg C. Then it was severe cold for us. In Bangladesh we have never experienced snow falling and ice accumulation. Have a very nice day.

I'm glad to hear that weather is comfortable there. That is a great thing. We haven't had to bad of a winter so we can't complain too much. I'm just hoping that the drastic change in the weather will not lead to bad storms. I think it would be great not to experience snow and ice. I would like to live somewhere that stays a decent temperature year round. I think it would be nice to do something like that.

You sound like you live in Maryland - where I live! We had the snow, then freezing rain - we've had ice in our back alley for days - melted now, of course - because today it will be in the fifties - and then tomorrow - near seventy! Bring out the shorts and halter tops! Ooops - forgot - it drops back down again on Thursday...lol.

Yeah the weather is crazy. It does make it difficult to know what to wear. I was wearing a winter coat when I went out last night and it was sixty degrees. It's becoming increasing difficult to know what would be appropriate because the weather could really change over night. I'm hoping though that it will stay a decent temperature and stop raining so that my daughter and I can go for walks and to the park.

Hi dominique
In India it is winter season but in the day time it is very hot , the sun is shinning like as it will shine in the summer , and in the might time the temperature is dipping which is lower than actual temperature.

That is a lot of raining. I think that for me that would be depressing to have that much rain. I'm not too much a fan of rain all the time or cold weather. I would love to live somewhere that has a decent weather year round. Hopefully in the future that will be a possibility or at least take a vacation in the winter months to somewhere warmer.

I hope that the weather in you area will get better as well. It can be life depressing when we don't have sunshine. That is a long time to have that fog. It is in the sixties where I live. I just hope that it doesn't drop really fast like this weekend. It was crazy how fast it changed.
